The research aim to outline the design strategy for a mosque as a third space that promotes of an inclusive communal neighbourhood. The research employs a case study methodology through observation and interview. Considering the scale intimacy, ease of preview, minimalist and adaptive building, ambient, and impermanence landscaping while designing a mosque for community life are essential to establish unity via inclusion in mosque architecture. The relationship between design, function, typology, and programming should be restored to infuse the mosque's inclusion for the benefit of all faiths. The architecture of the Traditional Malay houses reflects the physical environment to portray the family and community manifestation of the cultures and behaviours. This research attempts to discover the cultural manifestation that has affected the design and construction. The case study method is applied, specifically focusing on a case study of Rumah Telapak Ibu Soko, Tanah Datar 48, located in Kuala Pilah, Malaysia, consisting of on-site physical measurement and observation and an interview with the owner. The findings are part of explored social values and the impact of cultural influence on design and construction. Although Malaysia is traditionally a tea-drinking nation, the global coffee culture has become an integral part of a “third” space in the country's urban and rural areas. The study highlights the shared qualities and cultural elements that shape the design and atmosphere of Malaysian coffee places, providing insights into their role as important social tools in the country. By exploring the spatial design and social meaning of these coffee places, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationship between architecture, cultural identity, and everyday life experiences in Malaysia. However, this study focuses on a limited number of selected coffee houses in specific regions of Malaysia. The findings should be interpreted within this context and may not capture the full diversity of coffee places across the country. The findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on the intersection of architecture, culture, and social interactions, serving as a foundation for further exploration and appreciation of Malaysia's unique coffee culture.
