Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find and analyze empirically about student perceptions of basic differential equation modules. The subject of this study was students of mathematics education programs who took the subject of basic differential equations. A total of 60 study samples were divided into two study groups of 30 students each. The sampling technique in this study was a non random sampling technique, namely the pusposive sampling method. Sampling is tailored to the purpose of the study and based on the subjective judgment of the researcher and on certain characteristics that are considered to have relevance to the characteristics of the population that were previously known with certain considerations. Data collection techniques were used through the dissemination of student perceptions instruments towards the Basic Differential Equation module. The collection of research data using a questionnaire. Judging from the recapitulation of the results of data interpretation, it can be concluded that the results of the study are categorized as Good. From the recapitulation of the results of the data obtained there are 8% very good categories, 60% good categories, 32% enough categories, 0% categorized as poor, and 0% categorized as very opor. Keywords: Perception, Students, Differential Equation Modules
The purpose of this study was to identify ethnomathematics concepts and describe the ethnomathematics relationships in traditional cakes typical of the Magelang region. The research method used was ethnography using a qualitative approach. The techniques used in collecting this data used observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. In analyzing the data in this study using triangulation. The object of this research is a traditional cake typical of the Magelang area with three research subjects or informants. The results of data analysis concluded that there are several comparative concepts, flat shape patterns and geometric patterns in Magelang traditional cakes. The concept of a flat shape found in traditional Magelang cakes is a circle and a rectangle. While the concept of building space is a ball, beam and cylinder
In every teaching and learning process, it will never be separated from learning difficulties, especially during a pandemic like today. Teaching and learning activities in the General Biology course are not free from learning difficulties. This study aims to analyze how difficult it is for students of the UNINDRA mathematics education study program to study General Biology courses. This study uses descriptive qualitative research techniques, where this research method seeks in-depth answers about a phenomenon that is currently happening. From the evaluation results, it was found that around 40% of lecturers use Whatsapp in the teaching and learning process, 0% zoom meetings, 20% Google Classroom, and 10% google meet. In this study, students of the UNINDRA mathematics education study program experienced learning difficulties as seen from the indicators we observed; 90% of lecturers or teaching staff, 87% teaching aids, 65% building conditions, 75% curriculum, 70% lesson time, 75% discipline level, 69% motivation and 80% learning media.
