This service is motivated by the activities of Campus Teaching 2 which is a form of implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This program is based on the ineffectiveness of the implementation of learning carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. This can be seen from the decline in students' interest in learning, the level of understanding of students when learning, and the literacy and numeracy abilities of students. Based on these problems affect the effectiveness of the learning process, one of which is in SMP Negeri 2 Tanggulangin. One of the methods used in the service is literacy and numeracy habituation activities. The final result of this activity is the habituation of literacy and numeracy for students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanggulangin and increasing the real role and contribution of higher education institutions and students in national development
The subject knowledge management systems is one of the main courses in information systems study program, faculty of computer science. This course is offered at A concentration for students in semester 5 (five). Knowledge consists of knowledge explicit and tacit. To capture tacit knowledge, it can be done by involving a number of methods, namely: 1) Brainstorming, and 2) Nominal Group Technique.The study also involves a number of social information technologies, such as: 1) Facebook, 2) WordPress, 3) DropBox, and 4) YouTube. The topic for the theme of knowledge is how to reduce traffic jam. After passing 2 (two) simulation rounds, this research get 8 (eight) ideas suggestion related to vehicle parking in an effort to reduce traffic jam. The tacit knowledge capture simulation with NGT is able to provide acceptable suggestions by all the panelists involved. The use of social information technology in this study also received a very good response from the panelists.
One of the teacher's skills that is rarely felt is to write scientific articles. This is due to poorly trained habits and a lack of knowledge about writing a scientific article. Currently scientific articles become one of the mandatory requirements for the promotion of rank for teachers. This is the reason for the implementation of this activity with the intention to improve the ability of teachers in terms of writing scientific articles based on the results of class action research (PTK) that has been done. Methods of conducting activities with workshops, discussions, Q&A, face-to-face guidance services and by e-mail. The results of this activity showed a paradigm change about the writing of scientific articles, from the beginning it was difficult to be easy because the teacher already knew the tricks of pouring the idea of PTK results into the writing of scientific articles. Teachers' abilities improve when they start practicing training materials by creating scientific articles. The results of writing scientific articles still require improvement with several times the guidance. It is expected that from this activity will be produced scientific articles worthy of publication in scientific journals.
The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. The implementation of this activity is scheduled for three months, starting from: (1) giving material, (2) introducing and providing examples of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals, (3) accompanying teachers in writing scientific papers compiled from the results of PTK, (4) helping teachers to assess the extent to which their scientific writing is worth publishing, and (5) helping to give directions to which journals will be intended to publish their work
