The Covid19 pandemic corona virus in Indonesia was first detected on March 2, 2020. The Covid19 outbreak had a very devastating impact on the world Various industries are experiencing a slump, especially in the tourism sector. The weakening of the tourism industry in Indonesia such as Bali, Yogyakarta, Lombok has experienced a very drastic decline. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Through this method, the writer tries to reveal the Food and Beverage marketing strategy during the covid 19 period at the Cavinton hotel in Yogyakarta. The analysis tool used is SWOT analysis to formulate a strategy for identifying various factors based on the researcher's knowledge and understanding. SWOT analysis is used to formulate a strategy through maximizing strength and opportunities and simultaneously minimizing weaknesses and threats. The results of research due to Covid19 make public awareness of cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability very large, The decline in the tourism sector due to social distance caused the hotel business to decline so that Food and Beverage used various innovations and strategies to survive the Covid19 Pandemic, Public interest in food and delivery services is increasingly in demand, with the increasing transmission of covid19 making people limit themselves from leaving the house.
Batik is originally developed by women to be a craft that contains phisolophy, character and value of art, and becomes a part of Indonesia culture. It is expected that Batik is able to cope with modernization and maintain its tradition at the same time. Batik has been proven to develop rapidly in several aspects, including the realm of tourism. One of the areas where Batik has attracted as an object of tourism and economy is the city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Research of Batik as an object and attraction of tourism has begun by reviewing some journals and research results about Batik in Yogyakarta with qualitative approach and action research. The result of Batik research is able to frame the traditions, tourism and economic society that developed in the tourism villages in Yogyakarta. This research needs to be followed up by focusing on stakeholder efforts of governance, tourism stakeholder and society in maintaining Yogyakarta as World Batik City.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kawasan Airport City, strategi pengembangan pariwisata dan untuk mengetahui strategi peningkatan SDM bidang perhotelan dan restoran. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kualitatif, dengan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan 40 responden yang terdiri dari 31 orang anggota PHRI dan 9 orang tokoh masyarakat, 30 orang menyatakan sangat setuju dengan dibangunnya bandara YIA di Kulon Progo, dan 10 orang menyatakan setuju. Pengembangan pariwisata kawasan Airport City dilakukan dengan membentuk BPC PHRI Cabang Kulon Progo sehingga berdampak pada pertumbuhan hotel dan restoran yang ada di Kulon Progo. Berdasarkan gambar matrik SWOT, hasil analisis terpetakan pada kuadran I kondisi yang kuat dan berpeluang, rekomendasi strategi yang diberikan adalah progresif, yaitu berfokus pada strategi SO, dengan meningkatkan sinergi antara PHRI dengan dinas terkait dalam pelatihan pengolahan makanan untuk chef dan barista, serta bimtek online single Submission (OSS).Kata Kunci: Airport City, Pengembangan, Peningkatan SDM DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF THE AIRPORT CITY AREA THROUGH HUMAN RESOURCE IMPROVEMENT OF HOSPITALITY AND RESTAURANT IN KULON PROGO DISTRICTABSTRACTThis study aims to know the attitude of the community towards the development of the Airport City area, tourism development strategies and to find out strategies for improving the Human Resource in the hotel and restaurant sector. The type of data collected is qualitative data, with SWOT analysis. Based on interviews with 40 respondents consisting of 31 members of PHRI and 9 community leaders, 30 respondents stated strongly agree with the construction of the YIA airport in Kulon Progo, and 10 respondents stated agreed. The Airport City tourism development was carried out by forming a BPC PHRI (A Branch Leadership Management’s The Association Of Hotels And Restaurants Indonesia) Kulon Progo Branch so that it affected to the growth of hotels and restaurants in Kulon Progo. Based on the SWOT matrix image, the results of the analysis are mapped to first quadrant, strong conditions and have a chance, the recommendations of the strategy given are progressive, namely focusing on the SO strategy. by increasing the synergy between PHRI and related agencies in food processing training for chefs and baristas, as well as technical guidance of online single Submission (OSS).Keywords: Airport City, Development, Human Resource Improvement
Developing a creative economy through batik tourism as an effort to increase the local economy in the new habit era Jarum bayat tourism village. The aim of this study is to find out how the efforts made by the tourism assistance community group (pokdarwis) to increase the economy of the local tourism village community and what are the obstacles faced in carrying out these efforts. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Observations, interviews, documentation were carried out to collect the necessary data and completeness in this paper. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the tourism assistance community group (Pokdarwis) efforts to increase the local economy in this new era of habits are to continue to market tourism products online by utilizing social media, such as Facebook and Instagram as well as by participating in training/workshop related to the development and improvement of its potential and resources. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced are limited resources, lack of knowledge about marketing and the decrease in tourist visits in this new era of habit.
