Indonesian Basic Health Research Data (2013) showed that the prevalence of people with mental disorders in Central Java is 3.3% of the entire population and Kebumen district ranked as the second region with 773 people were detected as mental disorders in 2012. People with mental disorders experienced self stigma and also public stigma from the community in the form of labels, prejudice and discrimination (Corrigan, 2005). The purpose of this study is to describe the public stigma given by the community to the people with mental disorders in Kebumen district. This was a quantitative study with descriptive analytic method and survey approach, conducted in March 2016 in Rogodono village, Buayan, Kebumen district. The sample were 207 people taken by proportional random sampling technique. The study used demographic characteristics questionnaire and ODGJ public stigma questionnaire that modified from the Perceived Stigma of Substance Abuse Scale (PSAS) questionnaire by Luoma (2010). The data analysis used univariate descriptive. The results show that most of the respondents were female (59.4%), with an age range 41-50 years (32.4%), elementary education (49.3%), working as laborers (47.8%) and provide public stigma of prejudice (87.43%). Public stigma effect on healing and the incidence of recurrence clients with mental disorders in the community. Patients with fractures will experience a decrease in physical condition, dependence on medical actions that result in changes in the patient's life, disability and role change due to physical limitations can raise the psychological problem of low situational self-esteem. The purpose of this paper describes the results of the application of positive affirmation therapy on low self-esteem situational patients fracture of the femur. The methodology used was analytic descriptive with case study approach on 5 patients of femur fracture who experienced low situational self esteem. Results The application of positive affirmation therapy is effective in lowering the symptoms of low self-esteem situational symptoms with medical diagnoses of femoral fracture with a decrease of cognitive, affective, physiological, behavioral and social signs. A positive affirmation therapy recommendation is recommended for patients with physical problems with psychological low self-esteem situational problems
TTHE ROLE OF PEER GROUP EDUCATION FOR INCREASING KNOWLEDGE OF THE SELF ESTEM ORPHANGE ADOLESCENT eenagers are someone in the stage of seeking identity to support the formation of self-concept. Teenagers who experience changes in self-concept need a way to develop their own concepts. Peer group education is one way that can be done to support the process of developing self-concept. Aims This study aims to determine the role of peer group education in developing adolescent self-concept of Orphanage X in Kebumen District. Method This study uses quasi experimental design method with one group pree test and post test design approach with 29 total respondents consisting of 2 male peer group groups totaling 18 respondents and 11 female peer group respondents. The education process in the peer group was given for 4x meetings for each group with each meeting held for 90 minutes, the instruments used were questionnaires, modules and evaluation formats. Result The results showed that there was an influence of the role of the peer education group in increasing the knowledge of adolescent self-concept X orphanage in Kebumen District with a p value (0,000)> 0.05. The formation of this educational peer group is recommended not only to improve adolescent self-concept of orphanages but also for adolescents in general.
ABSTRAKPersalinan adalah suatu kondisi fisiologis yang normal terjadi dalam kehidupan terutama bagi perempuan. Perubahan peran dan proses perawatan bayi baru lahir akan memicu timbulnya masalah psikologis. Kecemasan adalah salah satu masalah psikologis yang dirasakan oleh perempuan yang baru pertama melahirkan (Primipara). Kecemasan akan mempengaruhi proses laktasi (menyusui) bagi sebagian ibu primipara yang mengalami masalah psikologis. Tujuan studi kasus ini yaitu untuk memberikan gambaran studi kasus penerapan asuhan keperawatan pada ibu post partum primipara yang mengalami kecemasan. Metode ini menggunakan desain penelitian dekriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua klien yang merupakan seorang ibu primipara dan mengalami kecemasan dalam proses laktasi di ruang nifas RSUD Dr.Soedirman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan penurunan tanda dan gejala kecemasan (klien 1 sebanyak 14.3% dan klien 2 sebanyak 12.5%). Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan afektif, dengan peningkatan terbanyak pada klien 2 yaitu sebanyak 3 skor (60%) sedangkan klien 1 sebanyak 2 skor (40%). Studi kasus ini direkomendasikan untuk peningkatan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang mengalami kecemasan dalam proses laktasi.Kata kunci : Persalinan, Primipara, Kecemasan, Gangguan laktasi ANXIETY IN PRIMIPHARA POSTPARTUM MOTHERS WITH LACTATION TROUBLE ON MATERNITY WARD ABSTRACTLabor or delivery is a normal physiological condition happens in life, especially to women. Changes in the role and process of newborn-baby care will lead to psychological problems. Anxiety is one of psychological problems that happens to primiphara mothers. Anxiety will affect the process of lactation (breastfeeding) for some primiphara mothers with psychological problems. This study is to provide an overview of a case study of nursing care for primiphara postpartum mothers who have problem with breastfeeding because of anxiety. This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. The study was conducted on two primiphara mothers with anxiety in their breastfeeding. Data were obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. After having nursing care, there was a decrease in anxiety (patient 1: from 44.6% to be 30.3%, patient 2: from 32.1% to be 19.6 %). Besides, there is a difference in the increase of affective ability, with the highest increase patient 2 (60%) while patient 1 (40%). It is advisable for nurses to provide nursing care for primiphara postpartum mother with breastfeeding problem caused by anxiety.
Acute Coronary Syndrom atau ACS merupakan salah satu penyakit kardiovaskuler, Prognosis fisiologis dari penyakit ACS ini dipengaruhi faktor psikososial diantaranya kecemasan. Proses perawatan di ruang rawat intensif berdampak pada kedinamisan kondisi sakit pasien, sehingga dibutuhkan suatu bentuk psikoterapi yang dapat mengatasi kegawatan psikososial untuk menjaga stabilitas tanda-tanda klinis pasien. Data primer yang diperoleh dari Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Se-Kabupaten Kebumen menunjukan dalam waktu 1 bulan terakhir sebanyak 50 pasien ACS mengalami ansietas. Penelitian ini bertujuan penelitian untuk Mengetahui tingkat ansietas pasien ACS sebelum dan sesudah diberikan psikoterapi individu di RS Muhammadiyah Se-Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental designs dengan pendekatan pre and post test without control group, sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 responden pasien ACS menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, Analisa data menggunakan uji t-test, Instrumen pengukuran ansietas menggunakan HADS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat ansietas pasien sebelum diberikan psikoterapi individu mengalami tingkat ansietas berat , setelah diberikan psikoterapi individu pasien mengalami tingkat ansietas normal, ini berarti ada perbedaan tingkat ansietas yang bermakna antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan psikoterapi individu dengan nilai P value 0,000 (Pvalue ≤ 0,05). The physiological prognosis of ACS is influenced by psychosocial factors including anxiety. The process of treatment on ACS patients in the intensive care unit has several impacts on the dynamic condition of the patient's illness, therefore the kind of psychotherapy is needed to overcome psychosocial emergency case to maintain the stability of the patient's clinical signs. Primary data obtained from Muhammadiyah Hospitals in Kebumen Regency showed that in the last 1 month as many as 50 ACS patients experienced an anxiety. This study aimed to determine the level of anxiety of ACS patients before and after individual psychotherapy given at Muhammadiyah Hospital in Kebumen Regency. This research method used quasi experimental designs with pre and post-test approach without control group, the sample of this study was 20 respondents of ACS patients using simple random sampling technique, data analysis used t-test, Instrument for Anxiety Used HADS. The results showed the anxiety level of patients before giving individual psychotherapy experienced high anxiety levels, meanwhile patients experienced normal anxiety levels after giving individual psychotherapy. It means, there was significant differences on anxiety level between before and after being given individual psychotherapy with p-value 0,000.
