This study aims to gain an understanding of the comparison of language styles in a collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmaya and a collection of Nafaskarya Fatimah Musawa poems. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in research using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study show that there are comparisons of comparative language styles and opposing language styles. Comparative language style in the collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmala amounts to 18 data and the language style of contention is 5 data, based on the language style that dominates the collection of Phrase Poems at the End of Season. Whereas the collection of Nafas poems by Fatimah Musawa, namely: Language style comparisons totaling 9 data. While the language style of contention is 11 data. Conclusions, a collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmaya is more dominant in the style of comparison and the collection of Nafas poems by Fatima Musawa has a dominant style of language in opposition. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa pertentangan yang terdapat dalam novel Perahu Kertas Karya Dewi Lestari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif terhadap dokumen berbentuk novel Perahu Kertas karya Dewi Lestari sebagai sumber datanya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan teknik pustaka, teknik simak, dan catat. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis novel Perahu Kertas yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa terdapat gaya bahasa pertentangan yang didominasi dengan penggunaan gaya bahasa hiperbola dan dilengkapi oleh gaya bahasa litotes, oksimoron, paranomasia, ivendo, klimaks, antiklimaks, sarkasme, antifrasis, paradoks, ironi, sinisme, dan hiperbaton. Gaya bahasa pertentangan yang diciptakan oleh Dewi Lestari dalam novel Perahu Kertas, menunjukkan bahwa permainan penggunaan gaya bahasa sangat penting dalam membangun sebuah novel.

The aim of community service is to assist in the formation of the PKBM (Community Learning Center) in the Mandi Angin Village, Rawas Ilir, Musi Rawas Utara. The method used is the method of socialization, training and practice. This PKBM is a mentoring activity that drects to the formation of the PKBM structure (The center of community learning activities). This is the concern of the PKBM team because in the Mandi Angin village has not yet formed a learning center for the community. PKBM assistance activities (the center of community learning activities) will increase SDM leading to SDM productivity in Mandi Angin village. The results of the PKBM (community learning activity center) activities in the Mandi Angin village of Rawas Ilir sub-district, kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, including: 1) The implementation of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau team with the village government, so that the activities took place safely and smoothly, 2) The implementation of the socialization of the PKBM structure (community learning activity center) and responded wel by the community, 3) the device and the community who were enthusiastic in bathing to support the formation of PKBM in the village, 4) The constrains faced were related to the difficulty in getting high competent communities, as part of the PKBM structure, and 5) The village government and the community demanded that the PKBM activities be carried out well, not just in the form of structuring their activities. In general the results of this PKBM are the formation of the PKBM structure which will be continued at the level of PKBM implementation.

The purpose of this study is to describe the moral values ​​contained in the novel Kembara Karya Pradana Boy ZTF. This study uses qualitative methods with qualitative descriptive research on documents in the form of the novel Kembara Karya Pradana Boy ZTF as the data source. Data collection techniques in this study with documentation techniques. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the novel Kembara Karya Pradana Boy ZTF has moral values ​​according to the regulations. The conclusions that can be drawn from this research are, a) moral values ​​in human relations with oneself there are 30 quotes; b) human moral values ​​with other humans there are 26 quotes; c) human moral values ​​with God there are 31 quotes.  Keywords: Kembara, Moral Values, Pradana Boy ZTF

This research is aimed to find out the Students’s Perception towards the Effectiveness of Speaking for Intermediate Subject to Support their Speaking Skill of English Department Students in Makassar Muhammadiyah University. This research was descriptive qualitative. The population were 20 students at the third semester. The instrument used observation and interview.As a result on the findings, the students gave the positive perception toward the implementation of speaking for intermediate subject to measure the effectiveness of speaking for intermediate subject to support their speaking skill. However, the students claimed that they have got many advantages during the implementation of speaking for intermediate subject. This research also found out that this strategy also needed to be improved by the lecturers in terms of giving instruction, observing the class and evaluating the implementation of speaking for intermediate subject.
