World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH) sebagai bagian dari World Health Organization (WHO) menyatakan bahwa masalah kesehatan mental tidak lagi dilihat secara individual, namun harus diintervensi dalam skala makro/sistem. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan praktis mengenai kesehatan mental selayaknya juga dipahami oleh masyarakat. Partisipan dalam penelitian aksi ini adalah masyarakat Pedukuhan X di Kecamatan Moyudan, Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian aksi ini adalah membentuk komunitas masyarakat sehat jiwa dan hati (SEHATI) yang bisa mendeteksi gejala awal masalah kejiwaan dan dapat segera melaporkannya kepada profesional kesehatan mental di Puskesmas. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan dengan melibatkan keluarga pasien dan perangkat pedukuhan (tokoh masyarakat dan pengelola pendidikan). Intervensi dilakukan dengan teknik psikoedukasi yang dibagi dalam tiga materi untuk tiga kelompok berbeda. Hasil utama Penelitian aksi ini adalah pembentukan kader kesehatan mental yang bertugas membantu profesional kesehatan mental di Puskesmas. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan pelatihan rutin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kader kesehatan mental.
This study was aimed to examine if there was effects of thinking positively for enhancing optimism on teenagers living in social institution. The subjects of this study were male and female teenagers who live in a social institution no less than one year, aged 13 to 18 years old, and have at least junior high academic background. The datas were collected using optimism device made by researcher based on McGinnis theory (1995) which consists of 28 items, interviews, and observations. The observer of thinking positively practice used to thinking positively practice manual arranged by the researcher based on cognitive approach technique. The comparison of the optimism score increase in on pre test, post test, and follow up along with the interview datas showed that there was an optimism between subjects who received thinking positively training and those who did not receive.The subjects who received the training had an increased of the optimism score.
The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between family effect on the intention of depression on HIV/AIDS victim. The hypothesis of this research is there is a negative relationship between family support and of depression on HIV/AIDS victim. The subject of this research is 50 ODHA in Yogyakarta, 2 men and 48 woman. The scale for this research conducted by the reseacher based on the House aspect of family support (Smet, 1994), and adaptation of Beck scale is used to measure the depression aspect (1987), which is BDI II (Beck Depression Inventory II). Data analysist method on this research is using Spearman's non parametic corelation. The analysist shows r = -0.434 and p= 0.001 (p<0.05). The data shows the higher the family support, the lower of depression on the HIV/AIDS victim. And in reverse, the lower the family support, the higher of depression on the HIV/AIDS victim. Based on this research, we can see that family support contribute 18.9% in reducing the intention of depression on HIV/AIDS victim.
The study examined the effectiveness of emotion regulation training to improve schizophrenia familycaregiver's resilience. This study use pre-post test control group design. The intervention consist 3 class sessions for two weeks and the duration of every session runs between 150-180 minutes each. The participants were 10 schizophrenia caregivers from two desa in Moyudan Sleman. They were men and women aged between 39-57 years old, and classified into two groups. One group (n=5) received emotion regulation training as experimental group and the other (n=5) as controlled group (waiting list). Participant were assed using Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) before intervention (pre-tes,) after intervention (post-test,) and two weeks after intervention (follow-up). T-test analysis toward the gained score shows difference between the experimental group and controlled group. The experimental group shows significant improvement while the control group show less obvious improvement. The result concluded that emotion regulation training was significantly effective to improve resilience of schizophrenia familycaregiver.
Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pusat rehabilitasi narkoba di Sumatera Selatan yang dalam proses penerapannya berbasis masyarakat dengan menggunakan pendekatan Comunity yang berujung pada proses spiritual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, implementasi program rehabilitasi narkoba melalui tiga tahap yaitu, tahap biologis-medis, psikoterapi-psikologi, dan tahap moral-spiritual. Pada tahap biologis-medis meliputi; detoksifikasi, mandi, dan memotong rambut serta kuku. Tahap psikoterapi-psikologi meliputi; isolasi dan motivasi, tahap terakhir adalah tahap moral-spiritual meliputi; pendidikan dasar-dasar agama, sholat berjama'ah, zikir dan membaca al-Qur'an. Kedua, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, faktor pendukung yaitu; sarana prasarana yang mendukung, adanya perhatian dan kasih sayang pembimbing, dan adanya dukungan dari pemerintah. Faktor penghambat yaitu; keadaan pecandu yang parah dan tidak adanya dukungan dari orang tua. Ketiga, Output program rehabiilitasi narkoba yaitu; adanya perubahan perilaku dan mental, munculnya kesadaran untuk berhenti mengkonsumsi narkoba, munculnya ketaatan dalam beribadah, dan meningkatnya jumlah anak bina yang dinyatakan selesai menjalani proses rehabilitasi. Kata Kunci: Implementasi program, rehabilitasi narkoba, berbasis masyarakat Banyak fenomena yang terjadi pada saat ini, para pemuda mulai menghadapi krisis akhlak.
