Aliran Asy’ariyah merupakan salah satu alairan ilmu kalam yang banyak dilakukan studi oleh para akademisi. Aliran Asy’ariyah didirikan oleh Abu Hasan Al-Asy’ari menjadi salah satu cikal bakal lahirnya aliran ASWAJA atau ahlu sunnah waljama’ah. Selain itu, aliran asy’ariyah memliki banyak pengikut dari kalangan Islam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aliran asy’ariyah dalam kajian historis, pengaruh dan ajaran pokoknya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kajian pustaka (library research). Teknik pengumpulan data berasal dari menelaah sumber referensi yang berasal dari penelitian yang relevan yang berupa artikel, buku dan sebagainya. Teknik analisis data dengan mengumpulkan, menganalisis dan menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aliran asy’ariyah menjadi sebuah aliran yang menjadi embrio lahir aliran ahl Al-Sunnah Waljama’ah yang menjadi suatu aliran para sejak Nabi Muhammad Saw sampai pada para sahabat. Aliran Asy’ariyah merupakan suatu reaksi terhadap aliran muktazilah dan ajaran pokok dalam aliran ini terdiri dari zat dan sifat-sifat Tuhan, kebebesan dalam berkehendak, akal dan wahyu, kebaikan dan keburukan serta qadimnya kalam Allah SWT, Wujud Allah, keadilan, dan kebaruan alam dan kedudukan orang yang berbuat dosa.
Radicalism is a complex problem. By that, a holistic approach is needed to overcome this issue. Every element of society and the state are morally responsible to support the process of deradicalization and strengthening the spirit of togetherness as a nation. This paper tries to explain how Religious Studies can be a study program that is expected to be able to support and actively involved in preventing young people engage with radicalism. All this time, radicalism has been understood to arise because of exclusives religious attitudes. On the contrary, religious studies is a place that leads students to get out of the trap of religious exclusivity. Religious Studies is an incubator where the spirit of religious inclusiveness is built. The attempts to counter radicalism can be one of the works for religious studies majors, especially the Religious Studies of Alauddin State Islamic University, Makassar. The religious study program must be at the forefront of campaigning religious inclusivity, anti-religious radicalism and also initiating a spirit of tolerance between religions.
This study aims to describe the forerunner of Islamic legal thought during the Khulafaur rasyidin era and to explain the development of Islamic legal thought during the Khulafaurrasydin era. This research is qualitative; the type of research is library research and uses a historical approach. The data collection method used is a literature study. The results showed that; 1) It can be understood that the Ansar were the forerunners of the birth of Islamic legal thought regarding the successor of the Prophet as the leader of the state and religion, this can be seen in the event of the meeting at Saqifah Bani Sa'idah in the discussion of the successor of the Prophet. 2) The development of Islamic legal thought during the Khulafaurrasyidin period can be seen in the achievements of the four periods of government. Starting from the caliph Abu Bakr, 'Umar bin Khattab, 'Uṡmān bin 'Affan, and 'Ali bin Abi Talib.
