Quality elderly life is the functional condition of the elderly in optimal conditions so that they can enjoy their old age with meaning, happiness, and usefulness. This study intends to examine the association between family support and depression level and the quality of life of senior patients at the Pasekan Health Center, Indramayu Regency, during the pandemic. This study is quantitative research. The Pasekan Public Health Center, Indramayu Regency's population, consists of an average of 86 senior persons per month; therefore, a total sample is taken. The results showed: 75.6% of families supported the elderly during the pandemic, 53.5% of the elderly experienced moderate depression during the pandemic, and 59.3% of the quality of life of the elderly included moderate criteria. The statistical test for the relationship between family support and the level of depression with the quality of life of the elderly obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family support and the level of depression in the quality of life of the elderly during the pandemic. It should be remembered that the quality of life of the elderly has to do with family support and the level of depression. The elderly should reduce the things that can cause depression by doing regular exercise, positive thinking, and others, as well as the need for family support so that the impact on the quality of life is increasing.
The Integrated Service Post, known as Posyandu, is the front line in health services and other multifunctional services. However, at this time its existence has not been seen optimally, this is due to the lack of Posyandu implementers and managers in understanding the existence of Posyandu, so that reports on Posyandu activities that should be carried out in stages have not been carried out optimally, besides that there is still an assumption that Posyandu belongs to Health people. The objectives of the service activities are: Understanding Geber Madu Ayu, Joint Movement for Advancing Posyandu in Indramayu Regency. Methods: lectures, discussions and simulations. The results of the activity: All management of the Posyandu, Village Working Group, District Pokjanal and District Posyandu Pokjanal understand the importance of the Joint Movement to Promote Integrated Service Posts (Posyandu) in Indramayu Regency. Conclusion: The Joint Movement to establish a posyandu in Indramayu has been received and received a good response from stakeholders. Suggestion: Posyandu administrators at every level should increase their commitment to advancing posyandu by involving related elements, ranging from academics, business people, communities and media as well as advocating for regional/government heads.
The final exam, on the one hand makes students happy, especially nursing students, because soon they will be finished through a long period as a student, where students feel free from all duties and obligations, both on campus and when practicing in practice areas (Hospitals, Community Health Centers and Community) , but on the other hand, the existence of this final exam for some students can cause anxiety because they are worried that they will not pass. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety levels of D3 Nursing students facing the final exam. This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional study approach and data analysis using the chi square statistical test. The research population was all final year students of the Polindra D3 Nursing Study Program as many as 42 students and the sample used the total population. The results showed that the chi square statistical test obtained p value 0.000 <0.05, meaning Ho was rejected. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between Self-Efficacy and Anxiety Levels of D3 Nursing Students Facing Final Exams. Before the final exam, students should increase their self-efficacy by studying with others or increasing their interest in the final exam so as to reduce anxiety.
The role of the posyandu in the community is very large, so it must be supported by the quality of human resources (HR) in the posyandu, in this case the posyandu cadres. The purpose of community service is to implement integrated health education media in intermediate integrated service posts (posyandu) in increasing service coverage. The implementation method is carried out by planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. This community service activity was focused on Kongsijaya Village, Widasari District, Indramayu Regency from 5 - 9 October 2020 with the subject of mentoring as many as 42 people. The results of the activity were the implementation of integrated health education media by posyandu cadres both at the posyandu and outside the posyandu. Conclusion: Integrated Health Education Media has been implemented well, Recommendation: related parties such as the Chair of the Village Posyandu Working Group and also the regional supervisor from Health should periodically and continuously provide guidance related to the use of this integrated Health Education media.
Background: As is known, cervical cancer is a cancer with the 2nd highest incidence rate in Indonesia after breast cancer. With the high cases of cervical cancer in the community, the question arises, how much is the understanding of Village Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) cadres in efforts to prevent cervical cancer in their area, especially teenagers about cervical cancer. Objective: To find out how the efforts of PKK cadres, especially Pokja IV TP PKK Desa in providing KIE (Communication, Information and Education) to the people of Karanggetas Village, Bangodua District in preventing cervical cancer by implementing the Kertas Menampik innovation (Karanggetas Preventing Cervical Cancer). PKM (Community Service) is held at the Kuwu Office, Karanggetas Village, Bangodua District, Indramayu Regency from April 18-23 2022 every 10.00 WIB - 14.00 WIB for 6 (six) days. The participants came from the Pokja IV TP PKK Village management and the Posyandu Cadre of Karanggetas Village, Bangodua District, Indramayu Regency as many as 34 people. The materials needed in the meeting with Pokja IV TP PKK cadres, Karanggetas Village, Bangodua Subdistrict, namely: posters, leaflets and a description sheet of the Kertas Menampik innovation. This material was donated to TP PKK Desa, especially Pokja IV TP PKK Desa Karanggetas Subdistrict so that PKK cadres can use it in providing KIE (Communication, Information and Education) about cervical cancer prevention. The results of the activity: PKK cadres are very happy and welcome this innovation and will disseminate information about cervical cancer prevention to the people of Karanggetas Village, Bangodua District. Conclusion: the kertas menampik innovation has been applied to the next PKK cadres, the PKK cadres are planning to socialize this effort to the community, both during posyandu and outside posyandu activities. Suggestion: The implementation of this innovation should involve all components including: academia, business, community, government and media.
