The article is devoted to the theoretical consideration of the problem and the use of innovative technologies in the educational process in the educational establishment of secondary education in the process of studying the school course of computer science. The main advantages of using educational simulators in the educational process are considered, based on the new state standard of basic and complete general secondary education. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and network sources, the features of the development of simulators for educational purposes are described. Innovative tools for simulator development have been investigated, as augmented reality with the use of three-dimensional simulation. The peculiarities of using a simulator with augmented reality when studying the topic of algorithmization in the course of studying a school computer science are considered. The article also describes the implementation of augmented reality simulator for the formation of algorithmic thinking skills by students, presents the results of development and describes the functionality of the software product. In the further prospects of the study, it is planned to conduct an experimental study to determine the effectiveness of the use of software development in the learning process.
The article is devoted to some aspects of the problem of forming future software engineers’ competences in the process of training at universities. The aim of the paper is to determine approaches to creation short-term bachelor curricula for future software engineers. The results of the analysis of the 2016 entrance campaign on the specialties of the baccalaureate level of the branch of knowledge 12 «Information technologies» for training on the basis of a short term are highlighted. The labour market requirements for future software engineers (for individual specializations) are analyzed. The rate of correspondence between the requirements of employers and the content of Ukrainian universities curricula is determined. Methods for forming the educational programs content for future software engineers training with a shorter learning period are suggested.

На основі аналізу їх властивостей візуальні мови програмування класифіковано на дві великі групи відповідно до формату графічного представлення синтаксису мов: мови з блоками та мови з блок-схемами. Візуальні мови програмування, що використовують блок-схеми класифіковано на чотири підтипи: що програмують потік даних, кінцеві автомати, поведінку дерев та правила на основі подій.
The author's model of formation of professional competences of future software engineers under the conditions of the shortened cycle of professional training at universities is characterized in the article. The relevance of such a study is due to the need of the labour market in the quality of training of software engineers in a short time, and hence the need to create appropriate conditions and use effective forms, methods and tools of training.
In order to pre-evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competencies of future software engineers under the conditions of the shortened cycle of professional training at universities and forecasting the results of planned impacts, we have developed a structural and functional model of this process. The model contains the following blocks: block of organizational and pedagogical conditions, target block (purpose and tasks), methodological block (scientific approaches, pedagogical principles), content and procedural block (content, forms, methods and means of forming professional competencies of future software engineers), evaluation and reflective block (components of professional competencies of future software engineers, criteria, levels and indicators of their formation, assessment tools and diagnostic techniques), result block (expected result of the research process).
