Planting area of soybean commodity at almost entire Sumatra island has decreased whitin period of 2011-2015. This decreasing trend mostly due to the low soybean productivity so that soybean farming is less competitive and encourages farmers to switch to other commodities such as corn, peanuts and cassava. The low productivity of soybean is also due to limited capital to buy production inputs that include seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides with price tend to increase, especially the price of anorganic fertilizers and pesticides besides, the price of soybean during the harvest time often less profitable to farmers. This study aims to measure the level of economic efficiency that includes technical efficiency and allocative efficiency in soybean farming in East Lampung. The study took place on April 2017 in Raman Utara distric as one of the soybean production centre in East Lampung for the last five years (2013)(2014)(2015)(2016)(2017). Ammount 790 farmers respondent either as own or rental soybean plantation area. Respondent taken randomly using proportional random sampling. Data are analyzed using technical efficiency analysis, allocative efficiency analysis and economic efficiency analysis. The results showed that the average technical efficiency of soybean farming system is 1.0 which means that in general the soybean farming has reached the level of technical efficiency. Meanwhile value of the allocative efficiency reach 1.4 that means efficiency level has not been achieved. The value of economic efficiency 1.4 is greater than 1.0 or noteficient yet. Therefore the use of production factors need to be added in order to achieve efficiency condition.
The objective of the study was to analyze Goat Milk Marketing Strategy on Dairy Goat Farmers of CV Berkah in Banarjoyo Village, East Lampung Regency. The problem which is going to be analyzed was how is the marketing strategy that should be done to increase the sale of goat milk from CV Berkah in Banarjoyo Village, East Lampung Regency. The method used in this study was non-probability sampling technique by cencus in total of 8 dairy goat farmers (1 chief and 2 employees) so that the population in this research were 24.Then, 24 respondents were taken from the total of population.Analysis tool used in this study was SWOT analysis that will be done in CV Berkah in Banarjoyo Village, East Lampung Regency. The data used were primary and secondary data related to the study. The alternative strategies that can be applied are 1) Keep the quality of the good product and reachable selling location by people used for utilizing the opportunity of making faithful consuments that can increase the demand of goat milk by changing people lifestyle. 2) There is a guarantee in purchasing the product as well as the use of promotion or advertisement such as brochure and other media that can be used for utilizing the opportunity. PENDAHULUANKontribusi sektor pertanian pada perekonomian negara didukung oleh setiap subsektor yang terdapat dalam bidang pertanian yaitu subsektor tanaman pangan, subsektor tanaman perkebunan, subsektor peternakan, subsektor kehutanan, dan subsektor perikanan. Dari kelima subsektor tersebut, subsektor peternakan merupakan salah satu yang memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian (Saragih, 2008). Subsektor peternakan merupakan salah satu pilar dalam pembangunan agribisnis di Indonesia yang masih memiliki potensi untuk terus dikembangkan. Salah satu jenis peternakan yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan adalah perternakan kambing.
The Change of people's shopping preference from traditional markets to shopping centers and modern markets are strongly facilitated by the development of modern markets (small, medium and large retail). This condition contributes the increasingly marketing of labeled packaged rice which offered by the modern market. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence consumers' willingness to pay for packaged rice at supermarkets. The study was conducted for 4 months in June - September in the City of Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province, using the survey method. The research location was chosen purposively, at the Chandra supermarket and Giant Bandar Lampung. The sampling method used in this study is judgment sampling. The method of analysis has done using logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the factors that influence willingness to pay are bidding price, income and comfort factors. The highest value of odds ratio is owned by income factor which means that consumers who have higher income have the opportunity to buy packaged rice at supermarkets
