Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan dalam upaya menumbuhkan gerakan cinta terhadap lingkungan bagi anak-anak usia 3-6 tahun di KB TK Permata Iman 1 Malang. Kegiatan yang dimaksud adalah mulai pengenalan, proses pembuatan dan penggunaan Charming Dustbin sebagai media membiasakan anak-anak usia tersebut untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Anak-anak yang berada pada usia tersebut di atas merupakan anak yang sedang berada dalam usia emas tumbuh kembang sehingga berpeluang besar berhasil untuk menumbuhkan cinta lingkungan. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini berupa demontrasi, membuat karya bersama, bermain sambil menyanyi dan mengambil sampah di lingkungan sekolah untuk dibuang bersama di Charming Dustbin yang telah dibuat. Charming dustbin ini merupakan tempat sampah yang diberi gambar menarik perhatian anak, sehingga anak termotivasi untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Sasaran kegiatan ini berjumlah 30 anak dari kelas KB dan TK di lingkungan Permata Iman 1 Malang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini anak menghasilkan kreasi tempat sampah yang mendorong rasa cinta lingkungan. Motif dari gambar kreasi ini berupa lukisan hewan, tumbuhan dan karakter kartun. Antusias anak-anak dalam kegiatan ini luar biasa disamping dengan dukungan dari pihak sekolah yang besar pula.
Zat Aditif makanan atau bahan tambahan makanan adalah bahan yang ditambahkan dengan sengaja ke dalam makanan dalam jumlah kecil, dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki penampakan, cita rasa, tekstur, flavor dan memperpanjang daya simpan. Siswa-siswi di SDN Purwosari 3 secara keseluruhan memiliki kebiasaan membeli jajanan di depan gerbang sekolah ketika jam istirahat sekolah berlangsung. Jajanan yang dijual di depan gerbang antara lain minuman ringan, makanan ringan (snack), dan pentol (cilok). Padahal pengunaan zat aditif yang berlebihan dapat membahayakan kesehatan. Maka tujuan dalam program pengabdian ini adalah mengenalkan siswa di SDN Purwosari 3 mengenai zat aditif pada makanan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap pendahuluan, pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Evaluasi terhadap keberhasilan program melalui angket. Secara keseluruhan siswa telah memperoleh pengetahuan yang baik terhadap zat aditif, siswa sudah bisa memilah dan memilih jajanan, siswa telah mengurangi kebiasaan jajan di luar sekolah, dan siswa rajin membawa bekal ke sekolah. Kesimpulan dari program pengabdian ini adalah siswa SDN Purwosari III sudah mengenal zat aditif makanan.
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis penerapan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis karakter di SMK N 5 Malang yang meliputi 1) memahami dan menjelaskan pelaksanaan Kebijakan ABSTRACT The observation aimed to describe the implementation analysis character-based-education policy in SMK N 5 Malang, includes 1) understanding and describing the implementation of character education policy in SMK N 5 Malang, 2) understanding the constraints of the implementation of character education in SMK N 5 Malang, 3) finding out the school's strategies to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of education character in SMK N 5 Malang. The study was conducted over four months using qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and review of document related to this research. The data obtained were analyzed by presenting and reducing the data and drawing conclusions as well. The data analysis covered the findings during the study which then been discussed supported by theoretical studies. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation policy of character-basededucation in SMK N 5 Malang run well. However, there were some obstacles: lack of professionalism and spirit among teachers, negative effects of globalization to the students, and lack of parent's and society's role in the implementation of policy. To overcome these obstacles, the strategies can be implemented are: 1) increasing the professionalism and spirit among the teachers, 2) implementing the methods of character-based-education of "mengerti, merasa, melakukan".
Students need microbiology textbooks that contain the latest research results so that microbiological material is dynamic. The research problem is how is the form of developing microbiology textbooks based on research results that meet the criteria of eligibility or validity. The study aims to determine the form of development of microbiology textbooks based on research results that meet the criteria of eligibility or validity. This research is a development research using the Thiagarajan 4-D development model, which includes define, design and develop stages. The microbiology textbooks developed were tested for validity and attractiveness to microbiology material experts, instructional media experts, practitioners and a small group of students who had taken microbiology courses. The results showed that the research-based microbiology textbooks were declared feasible or valid by a team of experts, practitioners, and students. Research-based microbiology textbooks are unique in that they contain research work procedures in the laboratory so as to facilitate students to understand microbiology material and establish life skills.
Communication technology has a major influence on the world of education. In the current pandemic, technology is needed in making teaching materials that can help students learn online. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop e-module teaching materials based on project based learning in biology lessons that are suitable for use by students. This research is a development research, with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluations). The results of validation by media experts, material experts and student readability questionnaires show that project-based learning-based e-modules are valid and suitable for use in learning in schools. The conclusion of this study is that e-modules based on project based learning are valid and feasible to be used as teaching materials and learning resources that are expected to increase students' interest in learning.
