The agricultural sector is currently witnessing the use of Internet of Things (IoT) to drive significant innovations across key interests, particularly irrigation. A sprinkler designed with an Arduino controller was developed in this study. The device is among the fastest growing agricultural irrigation systems. The plant studied is Brassica Chinensis, because this vegetable is one of the most commonly consumed vegetables by Indonesian people. However, emphasis is also placed on plant quality as an important consideration, not only on the device's operational performance. The purpose of this research was to compare the plant quality, including the dissolved solids, chlorophyll, carotenoid, and vitamin C using manual and Arduino-based sprinkler. As consequence, three treatment methods were employed, termed: the use of manual sprinkle, e.g. P0, and Arduino-based IoT sprinkler, described as P1 and P2. Under these conditions, the chlorophyll quality was comparable to the results obtained using the manual application. P1 is a situation where the sprinkler is manually set by the farmer via the app. Meanwhile, P2 uses a sprinkler which is automatically regulated by the system. Under these conditions, the chlorophyll quality generated with the IoT sprinkler was comparable to the results obtained using the manual application.
<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p align="center"> </p><p class="11daftarpustaka">Pandemi Covid-19 yang berawal di tahun 2019 sampai sekarang yaitu tahun 2022, memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar pada pergerakan manusia, barang, dan jasa. Terjadinya Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) dan berbagai istilah yang ada sebelumnya, mengharuskan masyarakat membatasi kegiatannya di luar rumah sehingga mayoritas aktifitas masyarakat dilakukan dari rumah atau biasa disebut dengan <em>work from home</em> (WFH). Banyaknya sektor pariwisata yang tersebar di Kota Batu yang tutup berpengaruh besar pada jumlah volume kendaraan yang menuju arah Kota Batu. Penurunan jumlah kendaraan berpengaruh pada kinerja simpang Pertigaan Pendem. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kinerja simpang yaitu berdasarkan manual kapasitas jalan Indonesia tahun 1997. Parameter kinerja simpang adalah derajat kejenuhan, tundaan, probabilitas antrian. Dari perhitungan didapatkan nilai DS adalah 0,31 dengan nilai tundaan berkisar antara 2,39 sampai 7,06. Sehingga kinerja simpang berada pada level B yaitu Baik. Selama masa pandemic Covid 19, terutama pada saat diberlakukannya PPKM level 1-4, dan pada saat survei dilaksanakan, Malang Raya sedang berada pada PPKM Level 3. Hal ini menyebabkan penurunan tingkat volume kendaraan sebesar 83,7%. The implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) requires the community to limit their activities outside the home so that most activities are carried out from home or work from home (WFH). The number of tourism sectors scattered in Batu City, which is closed, affects the volume of vehicles heading towards Batu City. The decrease in the number of vehicles affects the performance of the Pendem T-junction. The method used to determine the performance of the intersection is based on the 1997 Indonesian road capacity manual. The performance parameters of the intersection are the degree of saturation, delay, and queue probability. From the calculation, the DS value is 0.31, with a delay value ranging from 2.39 to 7.06. The performance of the intersection is at level B, which is Good. During the survei was conducted, Malang Raya was at PPKM Level 3. This condition caused a decrease in vehicle volume levels by 83.7%. Transport intends to ease the movement from one place to another. KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III belongs to one of transport facilities operated at Kalianget Port in Sumenep.This research aimed at investigating the satisfaction level of passengers taking KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III by implementing the methods of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The research result indicated several essential attributes i.e. Quadrant II (toilet cleanliness in KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III and facility convenience for passengers in KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III and Quadrant II (safety in KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III, cleanliness in KMP Dharma Bahari III, the ability of officer in KMP Dharma Bahari Sumekar III to respond fast the emergent problems and be responsible on the safety and cozines of passengers). Meanwhile, the result of CSI method obtained 71,47%.
The Government today, Government Business Entity and mass media in Indonesia are starting to pay attention to halal, since the turnover of halal products of the world has reached nearly 2 trillion dollars while Indonesia is still larger to be a consumer than a manufacturer. Not only foods, consumers in the world today want cosmetics to pharmaceutical products that have been halal certified. In Indonesia, problems with the potential of halal market today are still hit on the discourses. Indonesia still limited awareness not yet dared to action, whereas in non-Muslim countries themselves many have implemented halal supply chain. The establishment of Halal Hub Port in Tanjung Priok as the first Halal Hub Port pilot project in Indonesia is the forerunner to establish Halal Hub Port in other parts of Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the needs of Halal Warehouse at Tanjung Perak Port which in fact is also a major port in Indonesia and is a distribution door for the central and eastern part of Indonesia. The study was conducted on 190 respondents who are stakeholders of Tanjung Perak Port. Using the Importance Performance Analysis method, the results of the research produced a quadrant graph where quadrant A is the main priority containing performance of L/U equipment in terminal, performance of L/U workers/operator in terminal, separation of halal and non-halal products in halal warehouse, sorting of halal and non-halal products that have been damaged, cold storage separation between halal and non-halal products, clean and avoid contamination between products, special training for officers in halal warehouse, and hygiene facilities for officers in warehouse/halal warehouse. Quadrant B is to maintain the achievement contains 11 items, Quadrant C is low priority contains 5 items, and Quadrant D is excessive contains 5 items. The existence of 8 items entered in quadrant A, indicating that stakeholders at Tanjung Perak Port are very aware with the potential of Halal Warehouse.
The need for halal products has now become a trend. Not only struggling in food, but has grown in cosmetic, medicines and Islamic financial services industry. A research from the Pew Research Centre, states that until 2050, the world's Muslim population is expected to grow by 75 percent. This can be interpreted that the level of need for halal products is also increasing. Along with increasing public awareness of halal products, it is also necessary to treat halal in the logistics process. This research examines public perceptions regarding halal logistics, especially halal product transportation, and its variables are perceived by the community to be applied in halal logistics. The results of the study showed that more than 90% of respondents considered important variables needed in the implementation of halal logistics: mainly in sorting goods according to types as well as halal and non-halal, separating halal and non-halal products, setting the position of goods in cargo, using vehicles specifically for halal products, maintenance of cargo cleanliness, training of halal logistic officers, and health care for halal logistic officers. In addition, the use of halal logistic stickers can also provide halal logistic warranty from producers to consumers.
