The subject of this paper is the tourist potential of the gastronomic heritage of ethnic minorities inhabiting Vojvodina (Northern Serbia). The task of the paper is to examine the state of authenticity and potential for placement in the tourism market. The goal of the research was to obtain data about the authenticity and representation of authentic and traditional dishes in homes and hospitality facilities and their positioning in tourism. The research was conducted from October 2020 to May 2021 among residents of the region belonging to minority groups (Hungarian, Slovak, Romanian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and Roma). The survey was conducted electronically through cultural, art, and educational institutions that maintain the culture and tradition of the studied ethnic groups. The number of respondents who participated in the research was 619. The obtained data were statistically processed using descriptive statistics, as well as by using t-tests and ANOVA (LSD post hoc), and the reliability of the psychometric scales was assessed by the use of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Research has shown that Vojvodina, with its ethnic structure and gastronomic heritage, has the potential to attract tourists motivated by authentic food. Tourism potential of gastronomic heritage are proportionate to the share of ethnic groups; hence, the representation and preservation of the Hungarian, Slovakian, and Croatian cuisines are predominant. The respondents have shown awareness of the activities that would contribute to a better positioning of gastronomic heritage in tourism through implementation in different tourism manifestations and extra marketing activities.
Agritourism as a special type of tourist migration is a very important link in the diversification of rural areas, connecting the geography, culture, tradition, and gastronomy of the local population, and placing products and services through the hospitality and tourism market. Thanks to this form of tourism, underdeveloped places are gaining in importance and attracting the attention of visitors who are oriented towards natural things, which in turn contributes to a better economic situation of the locality and the population. This paper aims to examine the attitudes of farm owners in the Republic of Serbia toward the impact of agritourism on the economy, living environment, social life, and culture. The data were collected by surveying the owners of agricultural holdings in the territory of the Republic of Serbia and statistically processed using factor analysis, descriptive statistics, and linear regression. Based on the obtained results, it has been established that the owners of agricultural farms are interested in the development of agritourism, and that their positive perception of the impact that agritourism has on the living environment and economy greatly contributes to that. To a lesser extent, a positive attitude was noted toward the importance of agrotourism for the local community and locals, where the positive aspects of agritourism were the education of visitors on agriculture, promotion of the local culture, agricultural and gastronomic products, and sustainable development and investment in infrastructure.
The aim of this research was to assess the size and shape of the chest in students and top athletes. The research involved 23 first-year students of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, and 23 top athletes of the Athletic Federation of Serbia. The digital images of the frontal trunk aspect were made and further analyzed in ImageJ program. The vertical and horizontal distances and as well as the angles were determined: the infrasternal angle and the angle of umbilicus (sides of the angle connect the points on the left and right). Both students and athletes were divided into three height groups (I -165-174 cm; II -175-184 cm; . BMI and BI were determined (shoulder width). No statistical differences in height, weight and BMI among the groups of students and top athletes were found, which pointed to the homogeneity of the groups. All the parameters determined, the vertical and horizontal ones, except AAD, were significantly higher in top athletes (p ≤ 0.05) compared to the same parameters obtained in students of all three height groups. Acromial distance increases with height, but not statistically significantly. The above mentioned indicates a significantly better development of the bone-joint-muscle system of the chest in top athletes. The infrasternalni angle correlates with the angle of the umbilicus and it can be used to assess the shape of the chest. In our researches, analysing the individual cases, the presence of normasthenic, asthenic (elongated) and barrelshaped chest was determined. The program ImageJ is very precise, objective and easily applicable for determining the lenghtwise parameters and angles in anatomic and anthropometric measurements. The method does not require anthropometric equipment, digital images can be made quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we consider it particularly suitable for measurements in childhood and athletes.
Abstract:The leading vision of the paper is to present existing medical instruments among the Belgrade museums collections. Therefore, five museums and theirs collections of medical instruments will be displayed followed by brief explanations. The origins of medical practice can be traced in several ways: written sources, the legacy of art, and escavated medical objects. In order to present several objects dated in 1 st -4 th century, author examines the medicine practice in the territory of former Upper Moesia (Moesia Superior) and Pannonia Inferior, then Ager Singidunensis and Kosmaj area. Along side, the medical apparatus from recent medical history are also shortly presented. Some examples are accompanied by photos or draws.
Scrum is the result of evolution in product development originating from the Japanese management system and process improvement (kaizen) and the Toyota production system from middle of the 20th century. However, Scrum is not the end result but a constant evolution. The purpose of this paper is an attempt to add new knowledge to this evolution. There are numerous alternatives to Scrum process and rules, commonly called hybrids. It is important to be aware that one approach or process cannot be a solution for every software development project. The key is to find a balance between the processes and the people, policies and the principles, as well as focus on long-term or short-term goals, etc. This problem is one of the biggest challenges widely discussed in present-day scientific and industrial communities.
