Gloriosa superba is a alkaloid plant, which contains alkaloid components such as colchicine and gloriosine. In this study, Total Phenol content (TPC), Total Flavonoid (TF), Free radical scavenging activity (DPPH) using whole plant (Shoot, Flower, Tuber (SFT) extract derived from G. superba were tested for cancer. G. superba plants are identified and collected. The collected plants were separated into (SFT) G. superba whole plants are dried under the laboratory conditions. The temperature associated with the solvent used in the powder sampling will be followed by extraction using the different conical flask for 1 week and filtered what Mann No.1 paper. The filtrate was stored and used for further experimentation. Analysis of solvent extracts was subjected to phytochemical and antioxidative activity of DPPH assay. Different concentrations such as 20μg, 40μg, 60 μg, 80 μg and 100 μg were taken for all studies and the values are entered in terms of Mean±SD. In case of DPPH assay IC50 values are calculated using ANNOVA. Methanolic extraction from each solvent contains a high value of antioxidant properties.
Air Pollution is one of the current serious issue attributable to people's health causing cardiopulmonary deaths, lung cancer and several respiratory problems. Air is polluted by numerous air pollutants, among which Particulate Matter (PM2.5) is considered harmful consists of suspended particles with a diameter less than 2.5 micrometers. This paper aims to acquire PM2.5 data through IoT devices, store it in Cloud and propose an improved hybrid model that predicts the PM2.5 concentration in the air. Finally through forecasting system we alert the public in case of an undesired condition. The experimental result shows that our proposed hybrid model achieve better performance than other regression models.
Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology of interest, becoming so invasive which generate huge amount of data and hence it is significant to integrate with Cloud computing, a delivery model provisioned with virtual resources and storage capacity. This IoT and Cloud computing integration referred as 'Cloud of Things' bears key issues and the one is Security which hampers growth of it. This paper highlights those key issues and smart applications of Cloud of Things.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
