Identified pi(+/-), K(+/-), p, and (-)p transverse momentum spectra at midrapidity in sqrt[s(NN)] = 130 GeV Au+Au collisions were measured by the PHENIX experiment at RHIC as a function of collision centrality. Average transverse momenta increase with the number of participating nucleons in a similar way for all particle species. Within errors, all midrapidity particle yields per participant are found to be increasing with the number of participating nucleons. There is an indication that K(+/-), p, and (-)p yields per participant increase faster than the pi(+/-) yields. In central collisions at high transverse momenta (p(T) > or =2 GeV/c), (-)p and p yields are comparable to the pi(+/-) yields.

The properties of the low-lying levels of '"Te were investigated by the Coulomb excitation process which was effected by bombarding a thick natural tellurium target with 9,5and 10.5-MeV 0. particles and a thick target of isotopically enriched '"Te (95%%uo) with 45-MeV ' 0 ions. Levels at 443.58, 463.39, 671.42, and 729.30 MeV were Coulomb excited and the reduced upward transition probabilities 8(E2t') (e'b) extracted from the. data were: 0.186 + 0.005, 0.158 + 0.005, 0.130 + 0.004, and 0.0059~0.0008. Angular distribution measurements were performed with 42-MeV ' 0 ions. The following results were obtained for the y rays deexciting the 443.58-(3/2') keV level: 8(408. 10)

Predictions for charged hadron, identified light hadron, quarkonium, photon, jet and gauge bosons in p+ Pb collisions at [Formula: see text] are compiled and compared. When test run data are available, they are compared to the model predictions.
