-007Preparation and Crystal Structure of LnCu4-xP2 (Ln: Y, La-Yb) and LuCu3-xP2.-The compounds LnCu4-xP2 with Ln: Y, La-Sm, Gd-Yb, x = 0.3 and Ln: Eu, x = 0.2 are synthesized from the elements at 900-950 • C. The phosphides crystallize in the rhombohedral space group R3m with Z = 3 ( CaCu4P2-type structure). Single crystal data are given for the compounds with Ln: Eu, Pr, and Gd. LuCu3-xP2 adopts the YbCu3P2-type structure, space group R3m, Z = 6.-(DUENNER, J.; MEWIS, A.; Z.
