Can. Ent. 116: 281-283 (1984) The ambrosia fungus of Xylosandrus germanus (Blandford) was identified as Ambrosiella hartigii Batra and was the only fungus carried in the beetle's mycangium. This fungus and up to three species of Fusarium were isolated from walls of the beetle's galleries.
