Youth entrepreneurial autonomy needs to be developed. Several programs that involve students in entrepreneurial activities demand a social environment and play an essential role in the development of student thinking to determine business strategies in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to identify the profile of student independence in entrepreneurship. In addition, this study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial interest and social environment on students' entrepreneurial autonomy. The method used is correlational, where the data collection uses questionnaires and data analysis using regression analysis assisted by the SPSS application. The results showed the independence of student entrepreneurship in the high category with a percentage of 94.11%. So, 5.89% of students with low entrepreneurial autonomy need a particular approach to develop their entrepreneurial independence. From the results of this study hoped the next research will implement of soft skills that increasing students' entrepreneurial autonomy who have low category. Keywords: entrepreneurial interest, social environment, entrepreneurial autonomy, entrepreneurial independence
Objective: This study aims to examine cross-sectionally the correlation between self-concept and self-reliance to the resilience ability of the Distance Learning Program Unit-Open University students. Method: The method used is correlational with the quantitative approach with its measurement instrument using a questionnaire. The data analysis used is correlation analysis with parametric statistics. Results: The results of this study show that the three variables have a significant positive correlation. The categories of self-concept and self-reliance of students are in the high category, while their resilience ability is in the medium category. Novelty: Researchers hope this research will continue, so the following suggestion for the following researchers is to develop an approach in guidance and counseling to improve self-reliance and student resilience in remote lectures.
Self-concept is a way of how we perceive ourselves in terms of physical or individual's characteristics regarding the strengths and the weaknesses. Self-concept needs to be measured by an instrument that needs to be identified the reliability to measure the college student's self-concept. Engineering students are often faced with practical lectures and rarely have a dominant social world because of their daily activities are often spent to interacting with lab tools and materials. This article is going to discuss about the result of instrument's item analysis in the form of self-concept scale given to the engineering faculty college students. The analysis includes; difficulty level analysis, item distribution, instrument's consistency, consistency of the item on measuring self-concept, consistency of the engineering students in answering the items, and overall reliability using RASCH analysis model. This is conducted to evaluate the existing self-concept scale, so that the instrument's performance can be developed. Method used in this research is literature study and quantitative descriptive. In this method, evaluation and instrument identification in the form of developed selfconcept scale has been conducted. The self-concept scale used has reliability in the moderate category, consistency of student's in answering and item's reliability is in high category, the average engineering student answered the question below the question's difficulty level. It can be concluded that average items in self-concept scale is difficult to be comprehend by students and less able to measure student's self-concept and the difficulty level need to be simplified. This can be performed by re-testing the instruments to the same students to test the reliability through test-retest.
