The study aims to investigate the degree of appreciation by the academic elites in the Jordanian society to the challenges of national identity according to the contents of the American Deal of the Century in accordance with nationality and age variables. The study members are from the academic elites in the Jordanian society. They were chosen by the purposeful method, and their number is (320) researchers and thinkers. The study tool is developed to achieve its objectives after reviewing previous studies, political, and social literature. The results of the study indicate that the degree of appreciation by the academic elites in the Jordanian society to the challenges of national identity according to the contents of the American Deal of the Century is high. Also, the existence of statistically significant differences for the tool as a whole depending on the nationality variable. Whereas, there are no statistically significant differences for the tool as a whole depending on the age variable. In light of the results of the study, the study comes out with a set of recommendations.
The aim of this study was to explore the extent to which social studies’ teachers are aware of of their teaching roles in the cotext of knowledge economy based curriculum. The sample consisted of 125 randomly selected teachers of social studies (history, geography, social studies) in the second Directorate of Education in Amman, Jordan. In order to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher built a questionnaire in light of educational literature, and it was applied to the sample after ensuring its rlibility. The main result of the study was that the awareness of teachers of their teaching roles in the context of knowledge economy was high. Also, there were statistically significant differences in the level of wareness of teachers due to academic qualification in favor of teachers who obtained a master's degree. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in the awareness of teachers due to experience, specialty and sex.
The study aims to investigate how extent is the time management awareness of the faculty members of the Al-Balqa` Applied university, and its relation to some variables. The study conducted on (150) teachers were selected randomly. For achieving the study goals an appropriate instrument has been built up based on the educational literature and former studies.The study has found out that the teachers' awareness were "good", where the planning awareness was the highest, and the execution one was the lowest, also the role of the time management in career life was more visible than the personal life.The study also found out that the variables of the study have a weak impact on the teachers` time management awareness.
This study aimed at exploring the extent of awareness of teachers to the concept of e-learning, and the fact they use it in teaching at the Directorate of Amman's second, and formed the study sample (350(teachers in the Directorate of Education in Amman's second, selected randomly, simple, and answer the study questions were developed to identify twofold, first to look at the extent of awareness of teachers in the Directorate of Amman's second concept of e-learning, and the second of the reality of their use of e-learning to teach, were extracted ratified the resolution and stability. The results of the study was to: a degree above average awareness among teachers in the Educational Directorate in Amman's second concept of elearning to the overall degree of scale, and the dimensions of the five sub-all: the attributes of e-learning, and the role of school and the learner, and the importance of e-learning, and the basics of the use of e-learning and obstacles in the application of e-learning. As well as a statistically significant differences in the average awareness of teachers to the issue of e-learning due to the impact of sex in favor of male teachers. As the study showed a medium degree in computer use, and use networks, and Internet usage in the process of e-learning to the teachers. As well as the existence of significant differences in favor of females in the use teachers for e-learning in teaching. At the end of the study, researchers made a number of recommendations.
