Entrepreneurial intention plays a central role in stimulating the growth of entrepreneurs. The purpose of this investigation is to explore the relationship between several forecasted variables that can drive to students' entrepreneurial intention, consisting of entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial attitude, family education, and environment. We applied a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey model to capture the digestion of how entrepreneurship education, family education, environment, and entrepreneurial attitude can explain the entrepreneurial intention of vocational students. This research used a convenience sample of vocational students in Malang of Indonesia and was analyzed undergoing Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). This work confirms that students' environment can explain the intention and students' attitudes toward entrepreneurship. However, this study failed in explaining the role of entrepreneurship education and family education informing intention instead of stimulation students' entrepreneurial attitude. This study's surprising finding can be an initial opportunity to elaborate an appropriate model of entrepreneurship education for vocational schools.
The Covid-19 pandemic provides severe consequences of economic behavior as an increase of unemployment rates, and providing a new business creation can continue the economic activities. This study explores a functional relationship between irrational behavior, which proxied by loss aversion, the endowment effect, and herd behavior toward the morality of economic among small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as the mediating role of altruism in the perspectives of behavioral economics. The research involved a quantitative survey and cross-sectional data with a sample of 288 SMEs in East Java of Indonesia. Using structural equation modeling, the findings reveal that the endowment effect and herd behavior have a robust relationship with economic morality. This study also notes that altruism has a positive link with economic morality, and it has successfully mediated the irrational behavior of SMEs in Indonesia. In addition, the marketing strategy also distinguishes altruism's impact on morality economic.
The COVID-19 pandemic attack the economy and society. Economic activity collapses, the economic activity of the community experiences a setback due to many socio-economic restrictions. The logic of economic action from consumption and production works out of reason. Financial literacy cannot be separated in life. Financial literacy is an important skill that can be used to make economic decisions. Many pre-pandemic programs have been carried out to increase Financial Literacy. In the field of education students have been taught to be more sensitive in applied economics, only an evaluation tool for the effectiveness of methods that have not been accommodated. Researchers examine the condition of financial literacy at university level students. Based on the learning methods applied during the pandemic, using the score collection method. The analytical method used in this study was an independent t-test based on the teaching method implemented, respondents were divided into 2 group, 46 students in online learning classes and 46 students in game based learning classes. The results showed that the learning method at home learning was not significant enough to develop individual financial literacy.
Abstrak: Produk olahan susu sapi di Desa Ngembal Kabupaten Malang merupakan produk unggulan yang banyak diproduksi secara mandiri oleh masyarakat. Namun, produk ini belum mampu memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat khususnya para peternak dan pelaku UMKM. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membuat varietas produk yang berbahan baku susu sapi segar menjadi produk yang bervariasi dan memiliki harga jual yang lebih tinggi. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan demonstrasi produksi. Kegiatan pelatihan diikuti secara antusias oleh para peserta yang terdiri dari peternak, pelaku UMKM produk olahan susu sapi, dan masyarakat secara umum. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta pelatihan berkaitan dengan pengolahan susu, strategi diferensiasi produk dan strategi pemasaran semakin baik sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan diversifikasi produk dan membuka peluang pasar baru. Abstract: Cows' milk products in Ngambat Village, Malang Regency are superior products that are produced independently by the community. However, this product has not been able to make a significant contribution to the welfare of the community, especially breeders and MSME players. This community service aims to improve community skills in making product varieties made from fresh cow's milk into varied products with higher selling prices. This service was carried out through the stages of socialization, training and production demonstrations. The training activity was followed enthusiastically by the participants consisting of breeders, MSME players for cow milk products, and the general public. Through this training activity, the knowledge and abilities of training participants related to milk processing, product differentiation strategies and marketing strategies are getting better so that it is expected to increase product diversification and open new market opportunities.
Education need to have the ability to improve students' potentials, namely religion spiritual power, self-management, personality, intelligence, virtuous morals, as well as skills needed by learners and society. Teachers carry an important role to resolve problems related to learning difficulties. The result of the research that was done through interview shows that the types of learning difficulties found in students of favored state senior high schools in the City of Malang are the lack of understanding in receiving information and concept understanding problem. Hence, the solution suggested to solve the problems are: collecting materials taken from compulsory economics textbook and electronic books; asking the teacher regarding the materials that are not yet fully understood; increasing the frequency of exercises in LKS (School's Exercise Book), or other sources; making summaries, schemes, and notes to ease the comprehension of economics materials' basic concept; and scheduling studying time outside the school, and at home as well as providing more studying media at home.
