The development of international cooperation requires cooperation in the sphere of education. An enhanced sharing of experience in the sphere of practical teaching activities implies the increase of the quality of teaching process and of scientific cooperation. Sharing of experience in educational activities implies understanding among representatives of different nations anywhere in the world. It means that through LSM teaching the principle of social constructivism is realized, when participants together create a narrow culture of common objects and senses.The article presents an example of practical application of electronic media to the process of a real lesson. The article describes the process of teaching students from different countries using the system of LMS MOODLE, beginning with preparing study materials, giving lectures by foreign lecturers, practical tasks and ending with passing an examination.Training has included some full-time students from the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Dagestan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and has been realized by applying the method of distance learning (LMS).
The article is devoted to the challenge of bridging the knowledge gap on computer science in context of the Kazakhstani education. The authors discuss the main reasons of gap in knowledge on computer science at first-year students and suggest suitable teaching to solve the indicated challenge. The considered teaching is based on the principle of continuity to teaching which provide correlation between various levels of education and improving the effectiveness of teaching. The different levels of the students’ learning outcomes on computer science is considered as one of the most important cause of the investigated challenge. For this reason, the authors investigate the educational process design and the differentiated learning methodology using the Google Classroom technology aimed to the bridging knowledge gap in computer science.
This article presents a numerical simulation of thermomechanical processes in heat-resistant alloys. The authors develop the law of temperature distribution along the length of the physical body, which is considered as a rod of alloy EI-617. The authors also investigated the dependence of the magnitude of the elongation of the rod from a given temperature. To do this, the rod is conditionally divided into several elements, and then the study is carried out in one area. To determine the temperature dependence, the temperature distribution field is approximated by a full polynomial of the second degree, and approximation spline functions are introduced. Using a temperature gradient for one element, the functional expression characterizing the total thermal energy is written, first for the (n-1) element, then for the last n-th element. The total thermal energy is expressed by the formula n i i JJ 1 . By minimizing the total thermal energy, we obtain a system of algebraic equations for determining the nodal values of temperatures. Applying the obtained values, the elongation of the element due to thermal expansion is calculated. The relationship between the temperature T, elongation T l , «tensile» force R , and «tensile stress» . is shown in the work. It is shown that with increasing temperature, the above values proportionally increase
In this article, we describe in detail the setting up and implementation of the parallel computing cluster for education in the Matlab environment and how we solved the problems arising on this way. We also describe the comparative analysis of parallel computing cluster by the example of matrix multiplication by a vector with large dimensions. First calculations were performed on one computer, and then on a parallel computing cluster. In the experiment, we proved the effectiveness of parallel computing and the necessity of the setting up of the parallel computing cluster. We hope that the creation of a parallel computing cluster for education will help in teaching the subject of parallel computing at higher schools that do not have sufficient hardware resources. This paper presents unique setting up and implementation of the parallel computing cluster for teaching and learning of the parallel computing course and a wide variety of information sources from which instructors can choose.
The task of the traveling salesman, which is to find the shortest or least costly circular route, is one of the most common optimization problems that need to be solved in various fields of practice. The article analyzes and demonstrates various methods for solving this problem using a specific example: heuristic (the nearest neighbor method, the most profitable neighbor method), metaheuristic (evolutionary algorithm), methods of mathematical programming. In addition to classic exact methods (which are difficult to use for large-scale tasks based on existing software) and heuristic methods, the article suggests using the innovative features of the commercially available MS Excel software using a meta-heuristic base. To find the optimal solution using exact methods, the Excel (Solver) software package was used, as well as the specialized GAMS software package. Comparison of different approaches to solving the traveling salesman problem using a practical example showed that the use of traditional heuristic approaches (the nearest neighbor method or the most profitable neighbor method) is not difficult from a computational point of view, but does not provide solutions that would be acceptable in modern conditions. The use of MS Excel for solving the problem using the methods of mathematical programming and metaheuristics enabled us to obtain an optimal solution, which led to the conclusion that modern tools are an appropriate addition to solving the traveling salesman problem while maintaining the quality of the solution.
