The goal is to explore the impact of motivation of participation, involvement, and satisfaction rate of sports App on physical and mental health and analyze the current status of development and trend of sports App. Six hundred and eighty valid questionnaires were analyzed using test statistic, descriptive statistics, and Pearson Product-Moment correlation followed by semistructured interviews to gather the views of the interviewees. Finally, information is integrated, using induction, organization, and analysis in order to explore in a multiple ways of examining. The result discovered that sports App has the characteristics of customization, being topical, having less interference, and able to increase professionalism, fortify skills, promote interaction, enhance confidence, improve mood, and reduce stress. There are also problems of low interactivity, low stimulation, attenuated fun, fatigue accumulation, and increased pressure. If the motivation, involvement, and degree of satisfaction of the participant can be satisfied, the mental feel will be enhanced.
Purpose – This paper aims to examine the user’s willingness of golfers toward the use of GPS navigation based on the technology readiness and acceptance models. Design/methodology/approach – This study developed the research structure based on the theory of the technology acceptance and readiness model to address the relationship between technology readiness, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, user’s attitude and behavioral intention. A purposive sampling questionnaire was used in this study to investigate golf participants in Central Taiwan. In all, 245 copies of the questionnaire were issued. About 240 copies were returned and after removing the invalid copies, there were 230 valid questionnaires for a valid response rate of 95.8 per cent. Findings – The research results indicated that technology readiness has a significant influence on perceived usefulness, technology readiness has a significant influence on perceived ease of use, perceived ease of use has a significant influence on perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness has no significant influence on user’s attitude, perceived ease of use has a significant influence on user’s attitude, user’s attitude has no significant influence on behavioral intention and perceived usefulness has a significant influence on behavioral intention. Originality/value – The technology acceptance model has been widely used to examine user's acceptance and willingness toward computer technology or an information product. This study, hence, is based on this model to investigate the user's willingness of golfers toward golf GPS and shall serve as a reference for future golf sports promotion and device R&D.
This study took the Three Gorges Dam as an example and discussed the influence of river regulation decisions on the sustainable development of surrounding villages. The study used mixed research methods, snowball sampling, and convenience sampling to obtain samples. The questionnaire samples were analyzed by basic statistical tests, t-test, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The respondents’ opinions were collected through semi-structured interviews and finally the results were discussed by multivariate analysis. The findings were that even though the villages were not well developed in terms of economy, environment, and natural ecology, as long as the community security could be stable, the living could be safe and convenient, people’s daily life patterns and leisure behaviors could be maintained, and people could stabilize their minds and emotions and maintain physical and mental health in order to meet their living needs and reduce the burden. There would be time and funds to invest in leisure, tourism activities, and consumption behavior. If the above consumption patterns are continued, people will gain positive perceptions, stimulating people’s willingness to invest in property purchases or to make travel plans again.
This study mainly explored the behavioral intention and influencing factors of medical staff toward COVID-19 vaccinations. Medical staff were taken as the research subjects. This study selected 300 research subjects by the intentional sampling method and conducted a questionnaire survey. A total of 260 questionnaires were recovered (a recovery rate of 86%), and the number of valid questionnaires was 212, for an effective questionnaire rate of 81%. SPSS and AMOS were used for statistical analysis. As known from the research results: (1) medical staffs’ perception of COVID-19 vaccinations had a positive and significant impact on their behavioral intention for receiving COVID-19 vaccinations; (2) medical staffs’ perception of COVID-19 vaccinations had a negative and significant impact on the barriers to receiving COVID-19 vaccinations; (3) medical staffs’ motivation of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations had a positive and significant positive effect on their behavioral intention of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations; and (4) medical staffs’ motivation of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations had a positive and significant impact on the barrier to receiving COVID-19 vaccinations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
