As one of the most significant communication skills that one is required in the digital era, it is necessary to develop speaking skills among young learners who learn English at elementary school earlier. However, English was not the primary subject for Elementary students, especially in State Elementary schools. So, it made the English teachers have difficulty finding suitable textbooks for students. This article details the findings of a study conducted to learn more about the needs of young English learners in primary schools in the digital age. Four Elementary English teachers in Palangka Raya participated in the study. The study instruments were a questionnaire and interview guide. The survey results are revealed using percentages and qualitative descriptions. The findings will be utilized to create and develop an English e-book (based on local material) for young learners studying English at the elementary level.

This evaluation model aims to measure the performance of teachers in accordance with predetermined standards or performance criteria. Assessment of teachers' performance was done by multi-assessors. The goal of this study is to identify the teacher's performance in conducting the learning process based on group age. Performance of teachers in opening lessons mostly were still lacking in providing student learning motivation contextually according to the benefits and application of teaching materials in everyday life. The implementation of lesson study in improving the teachers' performance was conducted at Junior High School I in the Katingan state. The research was carried out on the science subject with the basic competency of describing elements, compounds, and solution. The activities of the teaching lesson study consist of Plan-Do-See stages. The Plan activities were carried out by planning the learning activities done by the modelling teacher and eight observers. They are preparing the lesson plan using experiments, arranging the learning scenarios, formulating the observation sheets for the teacher's performance using experimental method and developing the evaluation forms. The do activities were carried out by reflecting on the teacher's performance in the lesson study with the experimental method. The learning activities were observed by eight observers analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The result showed that the teacher's performance in lesson study through experimental method on the lesson were good category of the opening the lessons, explaining the materials, explaining the experiment steps, guiding the experimental activities, guiding the group presentation evaluating the learning process. The excellent category was finding in the communicating with students and observing the students' learning activities.

Siswa berpeluang besar untuk melaksanakan perilaku hidup bersih dan jajan sehat di sekolah tapi kenyataannya justru terbalik jajan di luar kantin sekolah, dengan resiko jajanan tidak terkontrol sekolah dan bisa mengancam kesehatan anak. Belum tersedianya tempat cuci tangan dan penyediaan air bersih di sekolah. Maka, perlu diadakan Komunikasi, Edukasi dan Penyuluhan baik kepada siswa maupun wali murid. Pihak sekolah bekerjasama dengan Universitas Palangka Raya bekerja sama melaksanakan penyuluhan dan edukasi berkaitan dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat bagi siswa/siswi SD Cangkang 1 sehingga terbentuk generasi sehat dan cerdas.</p>
