This article is a theoretical review essay, which aims to present the events that are considered most relevant in the development and consolidation of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and which in turn have positioned it as a therapy of choice for Different psychological problems. A review was carried out with two of the most accessible digital search engines for undergraduate students, using search keywords according to the objective of this article. Identifying that cognitive-behavioral therapy is understood as the application of scientific psychology to clinical practice in a systematic and structured way. This model based on behavior modification because of its solid theoretical and experimental basis, which emphasizes the empirical verification of the techniques during its application. What makes CBT an effective, efficient, and timely clinical practice, improving the quality of life of users and positioning themselves in front of other psychological models in terms of efficacy.
The objective of the article was to know the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of health personnel who work in the front line of COVID-19 care, given the adjustments they make in their daily professional and personal routine, carrying out a theoretical review of articles , manuals, and research generated in this regard, finding factors involved at the personal, occupational and social level that negatively favor mental health, and are mainly correlated with stress, the severity of the negative impact will depend on the self-care that the staff has health care and the care that its system provides, which both the World Health Organization and the Panamerican Health Organization have been proposing and each country adjusts it to its population. As a suggestion, it remains to verify the effectiveness of long-term self-care and care behaviors as well as the maintenance of results.
The objective of this studio was to carry out a theoretical review regarding therapeutic interventions with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy for the coping of women in the affronts of gender violence. It was carried out from the review of articles, books, manuals and intervention programs and it was found that most of the sources reviewed are focused on interventions for women who have already suffered some kind of violence, however, there were found limitations for the prevention of gender violence, regarding the same, there is a lot of information and psychoeducation, however, there are not 2 defined or specific interventions to reinforce coping skills to detect in a timely manner behaviours that can lead to women being victims of gender violence.
