Suspensions of two types of cements modified with different doses of melamine formaldehyde type of plasticizer were rheologically tested by an alternative method of centrifugation. The sorption of organic molecules on the cement particles was evaluated in order to verify the plasticizer efficiency. Regression analysis showed a considerable influence of the plasticizer's sorption on the rheological parameters of suspensions. POLYM. The partial oxidation of glycerol on platinum electrodes in MnO2 solutions by electrochemical methods was performed by means of cyclic voltammetry and multiple pulse amperometry techniques. High Performance Liquid Chromatography was used for quantitative analysis to determine the concentration of products formed. The obtained data were used to evaluate the reaction mechanism and kinetic model. Laplace transformation was applied to obtain the set of equations that describes the variation of glycerol and products concentration un function of time.
