AbstractThe aim of this research is to explore the concept of poetry and its didactics among students of Kindergarten and Primary Education through an experience with Joan Brossa's objectual poetry. First of all, there was the presentation of the author and his work and later on the students created an objectual poem and a related didactic proposal. The results of the analysis of questionnaires and reflections show there has been an increasing pleasure for poetry as well as the awareness of the importance to include this kind of poetry in the school because it represents a significant learning for itself and because it provides esthetic and emotional education to children.
