This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of the GroupInvestigation learning model in improving student learning outcomesin social subjects for class VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Jawai. This studyused quantitative methods in the form of experimental study, using apre-experimental design approach with a one-group pretest - posttestdesign. The subjects in this study were in class VIII C, with 33students. When conducting the study, the data collection techniquesused were measurement and documentary study, while the datacollection tools in the form of learning outcomes tests were pretest,posttest and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis onthe normality test with a significant value of 0.196 > 0.05, it wasstated that the residual value was normally distributed. Followed byhypothesis testing stated that Ho was rejected and Ha was acceptedbased on the sig value (2-tailed) on the pretest and posttest scorewith a value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there was asignificant difference after using the Group Investigation learningmodel with an average pretest value of 51.51 with a percentage ofcompleteness of 15.15% and a posttest of 81, 06 with a completenesspercentage of 87.88%. On the specified criteria, it fell into the highcategory based on the effect size test of 1.97>1.00. As a result, theuse of the Group Investigation learning model in improving learningoutcomes in social studies subjects for class VIII at SMP Negeri 3Jawai can be concluded to be effective.

Study results of economic subjects from students XI IPS1 with high and low group in Public Senior High Schools in Singkawang. 3. Class management is a determinative factor of students' learning result of high and low group in Public Senior High Schools in Singkawang. Urgency of the research: Practically for students: 1. Class management as an effort to improve student motivation in the learning process of economic subjects study. 2 .Improving students' study result in economic subject .For teachers: 1. This research can give significant contribution for economic teachers in order to manage the class better. 2. Improving the quality of teaching and learning. For school: 1. Give contributions in improving quality of teachers. 2. Improving the rank of school success. Theoritically: The result of this research is expected to be able to increase teachers' knowledge in general that is related to the theories about class management and study result.
Kemampuan menulis Karya tulis ilmiah (KTI) merupakan salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh seorang pendidik profesional. Hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah diperoleh informasi bahwa guru-guru SMP Negeri 8 masih kesulitan dalam menulis KTI meskipun telah memiliki ide. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan dan motivasi yang dimiliki guru tersebut. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi dilakukannya pengabdian masyarakat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi yang berisi penugasan untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat kali ini dapat dikatakan sukses dan mencapai target yang diinginkan. Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, motivasi dan juga semangat dari peserta. Hal ini terbukti dari kemampuan peserta menjawab dan merespon hal-hal yang ditanyakan oleh tim pengabdian. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu terjadi peningkatan motivasi menulis peserta serta peserta telah memahami PTK untuk dapat terbit pada jurnal nasional
The general problem in this study is: "How interest and creativity are as determinative factors on students' achievement on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas. Subpoints of the problems are as follows: (1) whether interest is a factor affecting students' achievement on the Economy subject at Senior High School 1 Sambas; (2) whether creativity is a factor affecting students' achievement on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas; and (3) whether interest and creativity join together as the factors affecting students' achievement on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas. This study employed descriptive method with a correlational study. The independent variables of this study are students' interest and creativity. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is students' achievement on the Economy subject. The population of this study is students' who officially enrolled on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas. The sample was taken from all students in the eleventh grade based on their characteristics. Sampling was done by using cluster purposive random sampling technique. The total number of sample was 40 students. Regarding the technique of this study, it used indirect communication and documentary technique. This study concluded that: (1) interest Factor gives a significant effect on students' achievement in economic subject at SMAN 1 Sambas. (2) creativity Factor gives a significant effect on students' achievement on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas. (3) interest and creativity Factors that are joined together gives a significant effect on students' achievement on the Economy subject at SMAN 1 Sambas.
This thesis is entitled "The Influence of the Use of Variations in Teaching Methodsby Economics Teachers on Students' Interest in Learning in Class XI SMA Negeri10 Pontianak". The method used is descriptive method. With the results of the studyas follows: 1) The use of variations in teaching methods by economics teachers atSMA Negeri 10 Pontianak can be concluded that the use of variations in teachingmethods by economics teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak is very good. 2)Based on the results of the distribution of questionnaires and observations made byresearchers, that the learning interest of class XI students at SMA Negeri 10Pontianak is good. 3) The magnitude of the relationship between the use ofvariations in teaching methods by economics teachers and students' interest inlearning at SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak is based on the results of correlationcalculations. The product moment is 0.735 which, when confirmed in the guidelinesfor providing Interpretation, the correlation coefficient according to Sugiono is inthe interval between 0.60-0.799, which means it has a strong level of relationship.Meanwhile, from the t-test, the t-count value is 6.664 while the t-table is 2.68,which means t-count > t-table, thus showing a significant correlation.Keyword : The Use of Variations in Teaching Methods, Students' Interests inLearning, Economic Learning
