The prevalence of cancer in Indonesia is significantly high. Based on data (Rikesdas) in 2013, it showed that the prevalence of cancer is 1,4 per 1000 people or approximately 330.000 people. The most popular cases faced by women is chest and cervix cancer. Data has shown that 75% of breast cancer had chemotherapy. The result of studies shows that more than 60% of chemotherapy patient caused hair fall, darken-nail, queasy, and loss appetite. The aim of this study was to find out factors related to the obedience to chemotherapy on breast cancer patients in wardThursina II BLUD Zainal Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh in 2017. This research was conducted from 1 April to 30 May 2017. This type of research was the correlation with crossectional study design approach. The population of the study included all of the breast cancer patients who were having chemotherapy. The technique of sampling used was accidental sampling that involved 65 participants. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test. The result of the study showed that there was a relationship self-concept and chemotherapy obedience (p-value=0,013); expense and chemotherapy obedience (p-value=0,036); family support and chemotherapy obedience (p-value=0,002); side-effects and chemotherapy obedient (p-value=0,007). It is hoped that all the employee in BLUD dr.Zainal Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh can improve nursing management and enhance operational standard procedure on chemotherapy for patients, especially for breast cancer patients.
The aim of this research was to know waterbirds diversity in the Peniti mangrove forest, Pontianak Regency. This research was found 19 species (9 families) of waterbirds that living in the Peniti mangrove forest, Pontianak Regency, West Kalimantan. This identification showed that four species were member of Sternitidae Family, three species were member of Ardeidae Family, other three species were member of Anatidae Family, two species were member of Laridae Family, two species from Accipritidae Family, and Alcedinidae Family. One species from Ciconidae Family, Scolopacidae Family, and Ploceidae Family. Thirteen species of them were protected in Indonesia; there were Egretta garzetta, E. sacra, Ardea cinerea, Ciconia episcopus, Larus ridibundus, L. brunnicephalus, Sterna sumatrana, S. dougallii, Anous minutus, Gygis alba, Halcyon pileata, Todirhamphus chloris, and Lonchura fuscans. Lochura fuscans was belonging to Indonesian endemic birds, because we only found this bird species in Kalimantan Islands. Two species, Haliaetus leucogaster and Haliastur indus were the International protected species according to Appendix II Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).
This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure toward firm value which is moderated by firm size. The form of research using associative. The data collection can be collected on financial statements, annual reports of manufacturing companies which are published by Indonesia Stock Exchange, journal, and internet. Based on the collection of samples using purposing sampling techniques found the number of samples of this study were 40 of sample company in manufactur sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. Data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study conclude that CSR has a positive significant effect on firm value and firm size does not significant effect on firm value. Futhermore, firm size as a moderating variable can not be strenghen the influence of CSR on firm value.
Nypa Palm Worm Namalycastis rhodohorde has economic potential as an export commodity. Condition current population continues to decline due to habitat degradation and overharvesting. Cultivation be a solution to overcome these problems. On the laboratory scale this species has been successfully cultivated, but still faces obstacles to high mortality in early developmental stages. Larvae obtained by artificial fertilization and maintained with the same stocking density and container as well as the same volume of maintenance media only distinguished by two treated feed. Survival and growth of larvae feed did not differ between treatment seaweed and fermented palm fronds. Different stocking densities suggested for further research related to survival and growth of the Nypa palm worm larvae to obtain the best data for mass production
Abstract The short nypa palm worm Namalycastis abiuma has an elastic and fragile body. Therefore, an alternative approach of morphometrical techniques is needed to determine the total body length. This research aimed to estimate the total body length of the short nypa palm worm based on body weight, the total number of segments, the length of the first three anterior segment (L3) and the tenth setiger width (S10). Body measurement was done using stereomicroscope fitted with the micrometer. Correlation analysis was done to describe the relationship between the length of L3 and the width of S10. A total of 258 complete and whole specimens consisted of 190 immature, 54 submature, and 14 mature individuals. The average body length of immature individuals was 108.62±34.80 mm, 172.27±42.78 mm for sub mature individuals, and 123.14±57.40 mm for mature individuals. Based on sexual dimorphism, the female body size is larger than male. The body length of N. abiuma can be estimated by body weight, the length of L3, and the width of S10, with correlation coefficient (r) of 0.82, 0.73 and 0.78, respectively. Morphometry approach can be used to determine the body size of N. abiuma.
