Novel vanadium dioxide nanorods in diameter of 40–60 nm and in length up to 1–2 μm were successfully fabricated via a surfactant-assisted hydrothermal method at 180 °C for 48 h. Electrochemical test results demonstrated that the nanorods showed an initial discharge specific capacity of 306 and 245 mAh/g in the fifteenth cycle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
