Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks berita sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif-eksperimen atau (Pre Experimen). Menurut sugiono (2016:107) model penelitian eksperimen dapat diartikan sebagai “model penelitian untuk mencari perlakuan tertentu terhadap yang lain dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan oleh peneliti yaitu untuk mencari pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei. Rancangan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain One Grup Pretes-Postest Design. Pada design ini terdapat pretest dan postest. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi hasil kemampuan tes atau awal (pre-tes) dalam kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei sebelum menggunakan model pemebelajaran picture and picture diperoleh nilai rata-rata 47,90 sedangkan hasil kemampuan tes akhir (post-tes) sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture diperoleh dengan nilai rata-rata 70,69. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dan sudah teruji secara statistic bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (9,10>2,57) menyebabkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture di SMP Negeri 1 Panombeian Panei.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran sikap siswa dan guru di SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar, mengenai pembelajaran membaca sastra dan buku teks pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, mengetahui wujud kontekstual dari lingkungan sehari-hari siswa, RPP, dan buku teks pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, serta mengembangkan bahan ajar membaca sastra berbasis pendekatan kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menghasilkan bahan ajar membaca sastra berbasis kontekstual pada siswa kelas VIII SMP, yang terdiri dari tiga bagian, bagian pertama berupa penyajian sampul luar, kata pengantar, penyajian SK dan KD, pendahuluan, daftar isi, dan tinjauan membaca sastra. Bagian kedua berupa isi yang didasarkan SK dan KD yaitu mengidentifikasi unsur intrinsik teks drama, membuat sinopsis novel remaja, menjelaskan alur cerita, pelaku, dan latar novel, dan mengenali ciri-ciri umum puisi dari buku antologi puisi, dan di akhir pembelajaran dicantumkan uji formatif dan evaluasi diri. This study aims to describe the ability of students in writing exposition texts before and after using the contextual learning model in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja. The method used in this research is the experimental method, and the population in this study are all students of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja and the sample in this study is class VIII-1 students. In testing the hypothesis, the T test was used. The calculation results obtained tcount > ttable at the level of p < 0.05. Based on the data processing of the ability to write expository texts for the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test), it was obtained that tcount = -11.417. At a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) with a df of 30 obtained ttable = 2.042, significant at p <0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. With the rejection of H0, there is a significant difference in the ability to write exposition texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja.
This study aims to describe the expressive approach to the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The analysis in this study is the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The formulation of the problem discussed in this study is how the novel "Beautiful Is a Wound" is analyzed with an expressive approach. This study used qualitative descriptive methods to collect data conducted using the recording technique method. Based on the data collection method used, the data will be analyzed by reading the novel, understanding the content of the novel carefully, looking for imagination, emotions, expressing the author's ideas and psychology, and then collecting them into one data according to their classification. . The data in this study is in the form of text in the novel that shows the author's expressiveness. The results of this study found the form of the author's expression in the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan, namely how the author can show his expression.
This study aims to determine: (1) the ability to write anecdotal texts before using the problem solving learning model in class X SMK-1 Private Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar. (2) The ability to write anecdotal texts after using problem solving learning models in class X SMK-1 Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar Private. (3) The effect of the problem solving model on the ability to write anecdotal texts in class X SMK-1 Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar Private. The method used in this research is a quantitative-experimental research method. The type of experimental research used in this study was pre-experimental designs, the research design used in this study was a one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study include: (1) The results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing anecdotal texts in class X SMK-1 Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar Private before applying the problem solving learning model obtained an average value of 37.72. From the results (pre-test) it was obtained that the students' ability to write anecdotal texts had not reached the KKM target of 70. (2) The results of the final test (post-test) skills in writing anecdotal texts in class X SMK-1 Private Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar After applying the problem solving learning model, the average value was 72.12. From the results (post-test) it was obtained that the students' ability in writing anecdotal texts had reached the KKM target of 70. (3) The analysis that has been carried out and has been tested statistically is that tcount is greater than ttable (5.07 > 1.69) causing H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of problem solving learning model on the ability to write anecdotal texts in class X SMK-1 Private Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar.
