We present the case of a 40‐year‐old man who was found on routine echocardiography to have a right atrioventricular thrombus, 24 hours after succesful supraventricular trachycardia ablation he had undergone. With the patient being asymptomatic, coumarin anticoagulants were started, leading to complete clot resolution two weeks later. In this case, we stress the importance of routine echocardiography to identify thrombotic complications after ablation and we describe the course of a large right atrioventricular thrombus which was successfully treated with Vit K antagonists.
