Bei der Bestimmung des "Gesamt-Thiamingehaltes" des Vollblutes mit Hilfe der Thiochrommethode zeigt sich eine hohe Eigenfluoreszenz des Vollblutes, die über 50% der gemessenen Gesamtfluoreszenz beträgt. Aus diesem Grunde sind auf solche Art gewonnene Werte nur sehr vorsichtig zu interpretieren. Observations on the determination ofthiamine in serum by the thiochrome methodIn the determination of the "total thiamine" concentration of whole blood by the thiochrome method, it was found that the intrinsic fluorescence of the whole blood accounted for more than 50% of the measured total fluorescence. Great care is therefore necessary in the interpretation of results obtained in this way.
