Usaha makanan atau kuliner saat ini menjadi tren dan gaya hidup terutama di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta, Bandung dan Surabaya, Makassar dan kota-kota besar lainnya. Makanan merupakan elemen kuat dalam menunjukkan dan memperkenalkan daerah maupun sebuah usaha kuliner. Hal ini mendasari tren perkembangan fotografi makanan atau food photography. UKM Kuliner Kecamatan Rappocini saat ini hanya mengemas produk kulinernya dengan sederhana, mengambil sampel foto di sosial media maupun internet yang bukan merupakan foto produk secara original. Sehingga pembeli kurang tertarik dengan kuliner tersebut. Hal ini mendasari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam Pelatihan food photography bagi pelaku usaha tersebut sebagai solusi pengembangan UKM kuliner yang ada di Rappocini. Metode pelatihan adalah melakukan sosialisasi tentang kegiatan dan pembekelan materi mengenai Langkah-langkah pembuatan food photography kemudian peserta melakukan praktek langsung dan penilain hasil pemotretan dari sampel makanan yang disiapkan. Target luaran yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan kapasitas pelaku UKM Kuliner, peningkatan kapasitas dalam promosi dan pemasaran UKM dari food photography sehingga dapat menjadi UKM yang lebih professional dan mandiri. Food is essential element that shows and represents local and culinary business. This issue enables food photography in culinary sector. Small Micro Medium Enterprises of culinary in District of Rappocini only pack their culinary simply, take photo sample from either social media or internet that does not present original food product itself, so the sellers seem to be less interested to purchase those foods. The community services in food photography for business entrepreneurs become a solution for development of small micro medium enterprises in District of Rappocini. The workshop method includes conducting socialization about program and training of food photography then participants practice and assess the result of the provided sample foods. The expected outcomes are to improve skill capacity of culinary business entrepreneurs, to develop promotion and marketing of small micro medium enterprises as a result of food photography training. Hence, the small micro medium enterprises can be more professional and more independent.
Penyandang disabilitas memiliki hambatan tertentu dalam memanfaatkan infrastruktur kota dibanding dengan masyarakat tanpa disabilitas. Hal ini terutama berlaku pada difabel penglihatan yang secara fisik tak dapat menggunakan indera penglihatan secara sempurna untuk menjangkau infrastruktur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji persepsi lingkungan difabel penglihatan terhadap arsitektur kota, khususnya jalur pedestrian dan ruang terbuka publik di Kota Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan ‘content analysis’, yaitu menganalisis kata-kata kunci dari informasi yang disampaikan responden. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi difabel penglihatan terhadap jalur pedestrian cenderung negatif, dan persepsi terhadap ruang terbuka publik masih lebih baik dibanding jalur pedestrian.
<p class="Abstract"><em>Architecture responds to the Pandemic with a unified and massive form, while the Covid-19 demands buildings that are completely void. This research was conducted at the healthcare facility building at Khadijah Hospital in Makassar which is expected to be a representative building for mapping the transmission of Covid-19 in public facilities. This study aims to examine adaptation strategies from the architectural realm in healthcare facilities combined with studies on COVID-19 mitigation and Muhammadiyah mediation in applying Islamic concepts. This research is descriptive exploratory to the object of research. The data collection method was obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and literature studies which were then analyzed using synchronic reading and diachronic reading methods, aligning all available information so that conclusions were obtained from all references. This study results that adaptation is more likely to regulate circulation, limit the number of people, and reduce furniture. Providing additional rooms such as green open spaces, and special cabin for patients and visitors are not fully accommodated because health care facility considers the cost and construction time. Another result is that the form of architectural adaptation raises the potential for design based on natural interventions such as the healing environment approach and biophilic design.</em></p>
