Low back pain is common in pregnancy with varying reported incidences. Low back pain is back pain that occurs in the lumbosacral region. In general, back pain that occurs in pregnant women is influenced by several factors, namely changes in body posture during pregnancy, low back pain usually increases with parity. The risk of back pain in pregnancy is increased in women who have previously had back pain and are overweight. National guidelines recommend that healthy pregnant women should do light physical exercise every day. Most women reduce physical activity during pregnancy and only a few studies have found that pregnant women are physically active during pregnancy.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Pregnancy Exercises on Back Pain in Pregnant Women. The method in this study is a literature review, which tries to explore how the effect. The results in this study indicate that the results of 8 previous studies indicate that there is a significant effect of Pregnancy Exercises on Back Pain in Pregnant Women. The conclusion in this study is that of Pregnancy Exercises can reduce Back Pain in Pregnant Women. Pregnancy exercise or exercise can provide benefits to maintain and improve the physical health of pregnant women, improve blood circulation, reduce complaints of cramps or aches, and prepare for breathing, muscle and pelvic activity to face the labor process. Pregnancy exercise has very important benefits for pregnant women.
Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah (1) Pendampingan stimulasi perkembangan balita melalui buku KIA (2) Pembinaan tata ruang Islami (3) Pembinaan sikap dan tingkah laku Islami. Mitra kerjasama kegiatan ini adalah kelompok ibu yang mempunyai Balita di Lingkungan Dasan Kolo Kecamatan Pagutan Kota Mataram. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pada Tahap persiapan, tim pengabdian melakukan pra kunjungan ke tempat Mitra. Tahap Pelaksanaan terdiri dari kegiatan pre test dan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada kelompok ibu Balita tentang perkembangan tumbuh kembang Balita dan pembinaan tata ruang Islami. Tahap Evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan menilai tingkat keberhasilan penyuluhan dan pembinaan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil pengabdian membuktikan bahwa ibu balita sudah mampu memahami tumbuh kembang balita melalui buku KIA dan mampu memodifikasi ruangan secara Islami.
Background: Anemia is a condition of red blood cell count or hemoglobin count below the normal value of the reference value, anemia in adolescents will negatively affect growth, development, cognitive abilities and learning concentration, as well as increase susceptibility to infectious diseases. Anemia caused by the intake of foods that are low in iron, excessive blood loss that requires the formation of more red blood cells than usual. Some other factors that are suspected to influence the incidence of anemia in female adolescent are the knowledge of female adolescent about anemia itself. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify knowledge of rural female adolescent about adolescent anemia. Methods: This research was a descriptive study with a survey method, located in East Penimbung Hamlet, West Lombok were conducted in July 2022. The population of the study is all of the female adolescent aged 11-24 years who not married, the sample subject of this study is 54 female adolescents were selected by non-probability sampling technique namely consecutive sampling with inclusion criteria, Female adolescent knowledge of anemia was identified by a closed-question questionnaire. The data analysis carried out by univariate analysis to describe the characteristics of respondents and adolescent knowledge about anemia. Result: The average age of female adolescents is 15-17 years (63%), 89% respondents had a thin nutritional status and 48% of respondents had an upper arm circumference less than 23.5 cm and 61% female adolescent has sufficient knowledge about anemia. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of adolescents about anemia is mostly moderate, health promotion from related parties about the definition of anemia, consequences and prevention of subsequent anemia needs to be carried out either through villages or schools.
Abstrak: Anemia defisiensi besi diperkirakan menjadi satu-satunya penyebab terbesar kesakitan dan kematian pada remaja. Anemia yang terjadi dapat menyebabkan menurunnya kesehatan reproduksi, perkembangan motorik, mental, kecerdasan terhambat, menurunnya prestasi belajar, tingkat kebugaran menurun dan tidak tercapainya tinggi badan maksimal. Hasil wawancara dengan kepala puskesmas penimbung serta kader desa penimbung didapatkan data bahwa masalah yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah belum teridentifikasinya kasus anemia pada remaja putri karena belum pernah dilakukan pemeriksaan screening Hb yang diketahui efektif mengidentifikasi kejadian anemia remaja putri. Solusi permasalahan yang dilakukan adalah screening Hemoglobin untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja tentang pentingnya anemia serta faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Kegiatan screening anemia dimulai dengan registrasi peserta screening sebanyak 50 remaja putri, dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan TB dan BB, Pemeriksaan Hb dan wawancara food recall 24 jam. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa semua remaja putri (100 %) di dusun penimbung timur mengikuti kegiatan screening, 11 diantaranya mengalami anemia dan sebanyak 44 remaja berstatus gizi kurus. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat selanjutnya berfokus pada pemberdayaan keluarga dengan anemia remaja untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan diet remaja.Abstract: Iron deficiency anemia is thought to be the single biggest cause of morbidity and mortality in adolescents. Anemia that occurs can cause a decrease in reproductive health, motoric development, mental development, inhibited intelligence, decreased learning achievement, decreased fitness levels and not achieving maximum height. The results of interviews with the head of the penimbung health center and penimbung village cadres obtained data that the problem faced by partners at this time was that there had not been identified cases of anemia in young women, because there had never been an Hb screening examination that was known to be effective in identifying the incidence of anemia in young women. The solution to the problem is hemoglobin screening to increase adolescent awareness about the importance of anemia and the factors that affect it for young women in east penimbung hamlet. The anemia screening activity began with the registration of screening participants as many as 50 young women, the activity continued with height and weight examinations, Hb examinations and 24-hour food recall interviews. It was found that all young women (100%) in east penimbung hamlet participated in screening activities, 11 of them had anemia and as many as 44 adolescents had thin nutritional status. Further community service activities focus on empowering families with adolescent anemia to improve adolescent dietary knowledge and skills.
