The article presents the results of self-assessment of health by children aged 8-9 years who study in the same school group. The questionnaires included questions on selfassessment of health and the presence of a number of factors that affect the state of health: the duration and quality of sleep, the presence of headaches, crying for no apparent reason, the desire to do homework, outdoor walks, and others. The children were offered the following answers to the questions: "always", "never", "sometimes". Half of the children had sleep disorders: sometimes 34% of the respondents did not get enough sleep, never -14%. Headaches were noted by 55% of children, crying sometimes for no apparent reason-25%. At the same time, 72.4% considered themselves healthy. Only 58.6% are willing to do lessons, and 34.5% rated the sufficient duration of walks. To indicate the stable emotional state of 8-9year-olds, we have proposed a child-friendly designation "I feel cheerful". The method of paired correlations revealed close relationships (r from + 0.65 to +1.0) between the factors influencing the health conditions and the behavioral reactions of the examined children. The study of self-assessment of health will help parents, teachers and medical professionals to take into account and correct the impact of factors that have an adverse impact on the health of schoolchildren.
The study was conducted by questioning the dynamics of changes in the assessment of health and influencing environmental factors in 4 age groups of women from 8 to 18 years. As we get older, we observe a decrease in the ability to fully recover during sleep, a good mood, an increase in the frequency of headaches, the need for sweets. Seventy-five percent of participants in the 12-14 age group considered themselves healthy, 56% in the 16-18 age group and 12% considered themselves unhealthy.
