SUMMARYFifteen cases of primary pulmonary malignant lymphoma (M.L.) were studied using strict criteria to distinguish them from secondary pulmonary manifestations. All were M.L.'s of the lymphoid B type.
A case of primary intracerebral plasma cell granuloma without meningeal attachment is presented. Histologically, the lesion showed two different patterns. At the center, it displayed the features of a benign fibrous histiocytoma. At the periphery, a mixture of polyclonal plasma cells, lymphocytes, and “epithelial-like”cells was observed. Electron microscopy and immunocytochemistry confirmed the histiocytic nature of the “epithelial-like cells.” The differential diagnosis and histogenesis of such a lesion are discussed.
We report 2 cases of aluminium sensitivity in adults. Each time, the means of sensitization was the inoculation of aluminium-precipitated pollen or dust extracts for hyposensitization. We conclude that aluminium allergy is not exceptional and that in these cases one can observe allergic reactions to the Finn Chamber tests.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
