CONCLUSIONSLine production of unfired periclase-graphite nozzles and collector-nozzles with iignosu!fonate binder, which have obtained wide use in teeming of steel through slide gates, has been developed and introduced.A method for holder-enclosed unfired periclase-graphite collector-nozzleswith phosphate binder providing normal teeming of two heats from 100-ton ladles has been developed. The results of service tests of unfired nozzles and inserts with phosphate binder in a number of plants have provided stable stopper teeming of various types of steel and have shown the possibility of replacement of fired parts by them.Replacement of fired nozzles and inserts with unfired ones makes it possible to shorten the production cycle by three times, to save 150 kg of standard fuel per ton of parts, and to eliminate the laborious operations of loading on the kiln cars and scrap for heat cracks, deformation, and out-of-roundness of the circumference of the channel.
Research background: The modern world economy of the 21st century, being innovatively oriented, global and based on the information space, is constantly being modified, focusing on the growth of the level and quality of life of the population by accelerating innovation processes. For the purposes of monitoring the innovation and investment activities of the regions in order to ensure the economic security of Russia, it is necessary to have a system of indicators that reflect the processes of innovative development of its territories as comprehensively as possible. Purpose of the article: Formation of a system of indicators for the balanced development of the region’s economy in the context of globalization: space-time analysis in order to ensure economic security. Methods: Spatio-temporal analysis of the identified indicators of balanced development of the regional economy in order to ensure economic security. Findings & Value added: The proposed system of indicators of economic security of the region and their threshold values can be used in assessing the development forecasts of the regions and the Federal Districts developed by the administration, draft budgets, expertise of the federal target programs, as well as in other elements of the regional economic security management.
Plans made for 1980 for the redesign and reequipment of production should be completed by each concern. The East-Siberian Refractories Factory is facing a major problem in bringing its new capacity to the projected levels. This will significantly reduce the movement of refractories from the central regions of the country to regions of Siberia and the Far East. The collective of this factory in 1980 needs to begin producing high-alumina goods and compounds and expand the output and increase the production of commercial chamotte.Critical problems must be solved in 1980 by scientific-research and planning institutes attached to the refractories industry: the planning of departments for the manufacture of dinas compounds using the wet method of preparing batch in order to improve working conditions and the quality of the goods; the development and introduction of a technology for fibrous refractories for service ~emperatures of 1400-1600~ organization of the production of plate corundum; increases in the number of uses of refractories in sliding gate valves for stopperless casting of steel to 3-4; increases in the resistance of monolithic linings of steel ladles by 25-30%; the creation of resistant refractories for powerful electric steel furnaces; caking and reduction units for ores; improvements in methods of guncreting metallurgical heating units; the development of high-grade projects for building sites in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan; ere.Of exceptional significance in connection with these tasks are the November 1979 decrees of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the statements and conclusions presented then by the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet, L. I. Brezhnev. Refractories producers, like all Soviet people, are trying to realize completely the resolutions of the Plenum and honorably fulfill the plans and responsibilities. The toilers of the enterprises and institutes of the refractories industry are widely developing socialist competitions for the early celebration of the ll0th anniversary of the birth of V. L Lenin and, by self-confirmed work for the joy and honor of his Socialist Motherland, ensure early completion of the plans for 1980, the final year of the Tenth FiveYear Plan. The high melting temperatures and chemical corrosiveness of aluminoborosilicate alkali-free glasses used for the production of glass fiber, the enhanced demands of constant chemical composition, and the properties in the product cause difficulty in selecting resistant refractory materials for glass-tank furnaces [1]. Abroad [2][3][4] and in the USSR [1,[5][6][7][8][9] new types of refractories have been developed on the basis of chromium oxide in the form of large blocks that are most resistant to aluminoborosilieate glass, and are recommended for building the tanks of glass furnaces used in the production of glass fiber and glass balls. This paper describes the results of the service and wear of chromium oxide refractories in a tank producing glass fiber at the Gusevsk Factory, in which, in September 1974, specialists from the USSR a...
