Kata Kunci: self-efficacy matematis, pembelajaran generatif THE ENHANCEMENT OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS' SELF-EFFICACY THROUGH GENERATIVE LEARNINGAbstract: The students' mathematics self-efficacy is important. So, there must be an effort to enhance it. This study implemented the generative learning model as an instructional alternative expected to be able to enhance students' self-efficacy. This study was aimed to find out the contribution on the enhancement of the students' self-efficacy. This study employed the quasi experiment design. The sample consisted of 191 grade eight students from three state junior high schools in Yogyakarta Municipality, each representing high-level schools, medium-level schools, and low-level schools. The hypothesis was tested at the significance level of 5%. The data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney and two-way ANOVA analyses. The findings showed that (1) there was a significant difference in the students' self-efficacy between the experimental group and the control group; (2) there was no interaction between instruction and school levels on the enhancement of the students' self-efficacy.
Kata Kunci: kemampuan soft skills, pembelajaran generatif THE ENHANCEMENT OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SOFT SKILLS THROUGH GENERATIVE LEARNING Abstract: Soft skills are factors that support students success in learning mathematics. The importance of the students soft skills, unfortunately, are not in line with at the students abilities in these competence. Therefore, we have to implemented a learning model that is expected to lead development soft skills of the students in mathematics. Generative learning model is applied in this study as an alternative learning is predicted to stimulate development soft skills of the students. This study is aimed at determining the contribution of generative learning model of the enhancement of soft skills for difference school levels (high, medium, low). This study is quasi-experimental research involving 191 students of eight-grade senior high schools in Yogyakarta involving three levels of school. Research hyphothesis was examined at 5% level of significance, data analyzed using t-test, and twoway ANOVA. The results of the study are: (1) there are different achievement, the enhancement of soft skills of student between experiment of class and control class; (2) there is no interaction betwee learning and school level toward the enhancemen soft skills. Keywords: soft skills, generative learning
This research was conducted with the aim of knowing: (1) student learning outcomes using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software; (2) student learning outcomes taught using problem solving learning models; (3) whether there are differences in student learning outcomes who are taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. The type of this research is experimental research, using the posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon with a total of 170 students and the sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling, namely class XI MIA4 with a total of 34 students and class XI MIA5 with a total of 34 students, so the number of samples in this study namely 68 students. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument consisting of description questions for the final test. In this study, statistical analysis was used, namely t-test and the final results of the study were: (1) there were differences in student learning outcomes who were taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material. This is shown in the results of the t-test calculation, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.017 < value of =0.05, thus causing H0 to be rejected and H1 to be accepted. rejected
Theaims of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of grade XI students of SMA Negeri4 Ambon in cone slice material using a cooperative learning model through CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) learning media assisted by geogebrasoftware. Students divided into small groups (3 groups) with each groups consist of 5-6 students who have varied abilities. The results showed that by using the cooperative learning model throughlearning media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction)assisted by geogebrasoftware, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of grade XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 4 Ambon
