Adsorbent is an adsorption that is used to absorb various pollutants. Adsorbents can be used from natural materials. Natural ingredients that can be used are oil palm empty bunches. Oil palm empty bunches are a carbon-rich material that is getting new research interest in adsorption because of its abundance and properties. Oil palm empty bunches contain carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, lignin, hemicellulose, and cellulose. Oil palm empty bunches are used as adsorbent for water saturation.

This study discusses the development of mathematical learning instructions based on the M-APOS theory. It aims to produce a mathematical learning instruction based on the M-APOS theory for students on grade VII of SMP / MTs of the second semester which is valid, practical, and improve students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The type of research is research and development which develops lesson plans and worksheets. The Plomp model was used in this study consisted the preliminary analysis phase, the prototype development stage, and the assessment stage. In the preliminary stage, a needs analysis, curriculum analysis, concept analysis and analysis of students is carried out. At the prototype development stage, a formative evaluation was carried out consisting of self-evaluation, one-to-one evaluation, expert review, small group evaluation, and field test. The subjects of this study were VII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pasaman. Based on the field test, learning instructions, the RPP and LKPD based on M-APOS mathematics for class VII SMP in the second semester, are valid, practical and effective. Valid is from aspects of content, presentation, language, and graphics. Practical is the in terms of implementation, time, ease of use. And effective is in terms of its potential impact on students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.

The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the students' critical thinking skills in learning using the ethnoscience-based Discovery Learning model. The type of research used is library research with analysis uses descriptive analysis. The data used in the study are secondary data in the form of scientific journals such as articles. Data collection method used in this study is the documentation method with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. Based on the results of a journal review that has been done, it is obtained that the use of the ethnoscience-based Discovery Learning model in learning can beraises students 'critical thinking skills by showing that students' critical thinking skills on each indicator have increased.

This study aims to describe how the moral values in a collection of short stories Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan by Okky Madasari are the study of the sociology of literature. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method. Descriptive qualitative namely research by providing an overview of moral values in the collection of short stories Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan. The source of the data in this study namely the source obtained from the collection of stories Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan by Okky Madasari published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama Jakarta consisting of 196 pages and published in 2017, while the data in this study are in the form of words, paragraphs, sentences, and quotes that describe moral values. Data collection techniques using listening and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used content analysis techniques. Based on the research of the short story collection Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan there are 3 moral value namely the moral value of human relations with oneself, the moral value of human relations with other humans, and the moral value of human relations with God.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana nilai moral dalam kumpulan cerpen “Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan” karya Okky Madasari: kajian sosiologi sastra. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian dengan memberikan gambaran terkait nilai moral dalam kumpulan cerpen Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan karya Okky Madasari. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu sumber diperoleh dari kumpulan cerpen Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan karya Okky Madasari yang diterbitkan oleh Gramedia Pustaka Utama Jakarta terdiri dari 196 halaman dan terbit tahun 2017, sedangkan data pada penelitian ini berupa kata, paragraf, kalimat, dan kutipan yang menggambarkan nilai moral. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kumpulan cerpen Yang Bertahan dan Binasa Perlahan terdapat 3 nilai moral yaitu nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, dan nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan.
