Mental health problems are increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, but many people are still reluctant to seek professional psychological help. Religiosity is considered as one of the factors that can influence one's preference for seeking psychological help, especially in Indonesian society, specifically in the city of Semarang, Central Java, which the life of society closely related to the value of religiosity. Therefore this study aimed to see the contribution of religiosity and religious coping in influencing the search for psychological help. This research was conducted at two universities, one state university and one Islamic private university which were determined through random sampling. Data collection was carried out online and offline with the Indonesian Islamic Psychological Measure of Islamic Psychology (I-PMIR), Islamic Religious Coping Scale (RCOPE), Attitude Towards Seeking Psychological Help (ATSPH), and Mental Health Seeking Help Intentions Scale (MHSIS) and obtained a total of 731 respondents. Multiple regression analysis showed that attitude was the strongest predictor of intention to seek psychological help (B= 0,556, p<0,01), followed by religious coping (B= 0,08, p<0,01), while religiosity was not a significant predictor. Further analysis showed the unique contribution of religious coping aspects towards the intention of seeking psychological help with F (5, 725) = 8,721, p<0,01, R 0,238. There were also differences in the contribution of religiosity and religious coping to the intention of seeking psychological help based on the background of the respondent (state or private Islamic university) which discussed further in the article.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan konselor sebaya daring dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental pada beberapa siswa yang terpilih di SMA Islam XY Semarang. Dalam pelatihan ini peserta diberi materi tentang mengenali berbagai masalah kesehatan mental, berbagai pilihan bantuan psikologis yang tersedia, dan keterampilan sederhana untuk menolong diri sendiri dan orang lain. Terdapat 16 siswa dari kelas XI-XII. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen satu kelompok dengan pre dan postes. Sebelum dan setelah pelatihan, partisipan diberi tes pengetahuan terkait literasi kesehatan mental dan skala sikap terhadap pencarian bantuan psikologis daring dan luring. Analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan setelah pelatihan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan (t -3.162, p 0.006) dan sikap yang lebih positif terhadap bantuan psikologis daring (t -3.108, p 0.007). Secara umum hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan konselor sebaya daring dapat meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental partisipan.
Kinerja karyawan yang bekerja pada organisasi publik yang sering disebut sebagai Aparat Sipil Negara (ASN) mempunyai arti penting bagi penentu kesuksesan pembangunan nasional. Faktanya, kualitas pelayanan publik yang merupakan manifestasi dari kinerja ASN di negera -negara berkembang termasuk di Indonesia, hingga saat ini masih relatif buruk. Ketidakefektifan strategi motivasi kerja yang diterapkan organisasi publik diyakini menjadi salah satu penyebab utamanya.. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang berupaya menganalisis data sekunder dari temuan riset terkait kasus penerapan setrategi motivasi kerja di tiga perusahaan telekomunikasi yang ada di Tanzania yang terdiri dari dua organisasi swasta dan satu organisasi publik. Tujuan studi dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi apa yang menjadi sumber-sumber motivasi kerja karyawan swasta, bagaimana dinamika psikologis dari sumber-sumber motivasi kerja tersebut serta bagaimana kekuatan motivasi kerja dapat berdampak pada terciptanya kinerja kerja yang maksimal dengan menggunakan teori Human Motivation Model (HMM). Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa teori Human Motivation Model (HMM) baik dari perspektif motivational sources(MS) maupun motivational forces (MF) dapat digunakan untuk memahami terjadinya perbedaan kualitas kinerja kerja antara karyawan swasta & karyawan publik. The work ethics are one of the main determinants of the performance as it is believed to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior in an organization. The police are bureaucrats who served as law enforcers as well as public servants to maintain security and order, so they are expected to demonstrate ethical behavior to keep the public trust. However, several unethical behavior issues are found in the organization. Cultural organizations in the police are believed to have served as one of the causes of unethical behavior by the police. The effort to build an understanding of the unethical behavior concept as a result of the work ethics implementation that is based on the organizational culture in the police corps through indigenous approaches was set as the goal of this exploratory study. A survey using open questions was given to 82 police staff in one of the regional police in Java. The results of this study illustrated the perspective of the police towards the elements of the work ethics implementation (internalization process, sanctions, and supervision) in the organization that is opening opportunities for unethical behavior. Theoretical and practical implementation of the results of this study would be discussed.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has an important role in improving the company's existence. CSR was formed to implement empowerment to society, attract the attention of surrounding society and build the company's image. This paper aims to examine implementation of society empowerment through the CSR program. This study uses the method of study literature and bibliometric analysis by collecting previous research articles that are indexed in Scopus database and have correlation with CSR programs, which are then carried out using bibliometric analysis using the VOS viewer. This analysis makes it easier for the author to make a common thread about dominant concepts studied. This study reveals that society empowerment in an effort to improve economic level and welfare of society through CSR programs is able to increase the responsibility and quality of companies in Indonesia. Besides that, it also has an impact on the quality of the economy and helps society to face the dynamic economy, social and culture in the future. For further research, it is expected to pay attention to dominant concepts contained in CSR programs, especially in implementation of society development around the company as consideration for improvement and refinement of research to be carried out.
