This paper aims to describe educational experiences of social movements in non-school spaces. This is a qualitative systematic review of literature carried out through an electronic search in Google Scholar databases. The inclusion criteria were composed by articles published in the last 15 years, which had as a central theme educational experiences of social movements in non-schooling spaces, in the States of Bahia and Pernambuco. Five articles were found and included in the review in order to develop a synoptic table with their synthesis. From the analysis, it was possible to emphasize the importance and evolution of educational processes in non-school spaces in socioeconomic development, making evident the importance of bringing social movements and popular groups into the decision-making processes and educational policy.
