A full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine changes people’s behavior and determines the current person’s resilience/vulnerability in society. This paper aims to estimate individual resilience/vulnerability and its factors in the community during wartime. It used the online survey method based on Google Forms and online focus-group interviews during May-August 2022 at four territorial communities in Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, and Sumy regions, which geographically represent the whole of Ukraine. A randomly selected 468 respondents were interviewed, including 139 internally displaced persons and refugees and 329 who did not consider themselves in any vulnerable category. The survey shows that according to the “Well-being and baseline status” factor, 66.3% of respondents confirmed an increase in their activity in response to the war.Along with a high level of trust in their family during wartime, indicators of social atomization (broken social ties, isolation of people from each other) are high. Thus, 37.4% of respondents noted that they rely only on themselves and solve their problems independently, without anyone’s help. Using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, it was found that the social resilience of the Ukrainian population is mainly based on individual resilience rather than on the resilience of mechanisms. For almost 50% of the respondents, there are manifestations of atomized sustainability and vulnerability, which increase the likelihood of post-traumatic stress disorder. Therefore, the control over disaster management processes should be based not only on data monitoring but also on training and innovativeness to increase social resilience. The article presents meaningful description of target component of system of socio-pedagogical work on prevention of social orphanhood in the territorial community of city which includes purpose, objectives and results of socio-pedagogical work on prevention of social orphanhood in TCC. The goal hierarchy of the state system of social work with family, children and youth in the direction of prevention of social orphanhood in Ukraine is defined; and the strategic social purpose of preventive work with family, children and youth on reduction of risks of social orphanhood, the purpose of social and pedagogical work on the prevention of social orphanhood in the territorial community of city in broad and narrow meanings, as well as the result of socio-pedagogical work on prevention of social orphanhood in TCC are detected. The conceptual content of target construct of prevention of social orphanhood in TCC is revealed which includes the concept: «urban community of social and pedagogical orientation, friendly to children and families» – «healthy family – safe family environment – responsible parenting» – «child welfare». The author notes that the ultimate goal of socio-pedagogical work on prevention of social orphanhood in the territorial community of city is strengthening of family and creation of favorable conditions for upbringing and development of a child in safe family environment, activating resources of both the city community, ensuring the best interests of a child through forming of conscious attitude to parenthood, and responsible attitude of parents to performance of their roles, responsibilities, parental functions in young people.
The article reveals the problem of the dependence of social phenomena – conscious parenthood and social orphanhood. The aim of the article is to present the results of experimental research in diagnosis of the level of creation of conscious parenting of student youth as a condition of prevention of social orphanhood in the territorial community of the city. The characteristic of the main components of the process of the formation of conscious parenthood of student youth is given, the essence of the phenomenon of social orphanhood is revealed. The main methods of this study are: methods of theoretical knowledge - analysis, synthesis, systematization, classification, generalization, focus groups, ranking method, survey methods - questioning, testing, socio-pedagogical experiment, monitoring, methods of mathematical statistics (Pearson's criterion χ2, Fisher criterion *F-test, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient). The results of the ascertaining and control stages of the experimental study on the diagnosis of the level of formation of the conscious parenthood of student youth in institutions of higher education in the cities of Lviv, Kyiv and Khmelnytsky (Ukraine) are presented.Diagnostic results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment has shown that the majority of modern Ukrainian students has a low level of knowledge and skills about conscious parenthood and they are practically not aware of the possibilities of the subjects of the territorial community of the city towards forming the youth conscious parenthood and preventing of the social orphanhood. At the formative stage of the experiment the strategy of involving and activating young students into the process of forming conscious parenthood through development and realization of social and pedagogical technology, aimed to popularization of the idea of conscious parenting among youth, is determined as a condition for precluding the Kalchenko et al., 2020.Диагностика уровня сформированности осознанного родительства студенческой молодёжи как условие превенции социального сиротства 288 phenomenon of social orphanhood, abandonment and homelessness of children. The results of the control phase of the experiment have confirmed the effectiveness of the developed and tested social-pedagogical technology and have shown a positive dynamics of changes in the level of formation of the conscious parenthood of students of the higher education institutions experimental groups for all indicators of cognitive and value-based behavioural criteria.
