The objective of this research is geared towards sharing knowledge and plan to investigate whether the female primary school teachers in Malaysia are experiencing workfamily roles conflict or not. Researchers have realized that studies on female primary school teacher's work-family role conflicts experience have been neglected. Hence, the concern of this study will also discuss the relevant theories of work-family role conflicts from the perspectives of the famous scholars. Moreover, the study will similarly deliberate on the various empirical researches related to the current investigation. In addition, a proposed method and techniques of conducting this research will be discussed for the successful investigation of the study. In a nutshell, the relevance of this study would be helpful to the female primary teachers in Malaysia and others, the school head teachers, couples of career women, ministries of Education, researchers and the general populace
Abstract-There has been many theories and approaches that has been suggested and implemented by teachers around the globe to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. In recent years, Malaysia, along with other countries around the globe, has shifted the nation's educational policies and implementation towards the 21st century teaching and learning. This paper focuses on school administrators' awareness of 21st century skills and the implementation of these skills in their teaching and learning. This qualitative study of 2 Malaysian school administrators is hoped to be able to identify the school administrators' awareness of the 21st century skills and ascertain the implementation of the skills in the classroom activities from the administrators' perspective. The results obtained will be used as a preliminary data for the study conducted on school teachers.
This paper is a conceptual approach that stimulate able scholars that failed to ponder carefully on dual-role conflict among female primary school teachers. Of course, female primary school teachers are experiencing dual-role conflict. Also, presently female primary school teachers has dominated our primary schools teaching our children, on the same vain experiencing dual-role conflict which needed urgent attention from all stakeholders. The essence of this paper was due to the relevance of work and family matters. Scholars are really trying their best for enlightening all stakeholders on the issue of work-family role conflict in many discipline. In Education, related researches are always carrying on but the background level of education primary school is somehow been put aside with little concern. Considering this will help in making the work-life balance of female primary school teachers more sustainable. With this teaching and learning of our younger children would be efficient and effective. The researcher has proposed a conceptual framework in studying dual-role conflict among female primary school teachers. However, the qualitative interpretivist approach using case study or grounded theory would be applicable in conducting such type of research respectively.
