This study aims to (1) to determine the use of block media in the cognitive and social development of children in Kuntum Mekar 2 Bandar Lampung, (2) to know the application of bemain role method in developing cognitive and social emotional of children in Kuntum Mekar Kindergarten 2 Bandar Lampung, (3) Ketiga, Keberhasilan penerapan media balok dan metode bermain peran dalam pengembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional anak usia dini dibuktikan dengan anak berkembang sesuai harapan, seperti anak mampu mengenal benda berdasarkan fungsi, anak mampu mengklasifikasikan benda berdasarkan bentuk, warna dan ukuran, anak mampu mengenal pola ABC, anak mampu mengenal konsep bilangan, anak mampu membilang banyak benda 1-10 dan anak mampu bersikap kooperatif dengan teman, anak mampu mengenal tata krama dan sopan santun sesuai dengan nilai sosial budaya setempat, anak mampu memahami peraturan dan disiplin dan anak mampu menunjukkan sikap empati.Kata Kunci: Media Balok, Metode Bermain Peran, Kognitif dan Pengembangan Sosial Emosional PendahuluanMasa kanak-kanak merupakan masa yang tepat untuk memulai memberikan berbagai stimulus agar anak dapat berkembang secara optimal. Apa yang dipelajari seseorang di awal kehidupan akan mempunyai dampak pada kehidupan di masa yang akan datang (Gunarsa, 1984:68). Pemberian pendidikan bagi anak-anak usia dini dan anak-anak pra sekolah (TK) akan lebih bermakna jika dilakukan melalui metode pendidikan yang dapat menyenangkan, edukatif, sesuai dengan bakat, dan pembawaannya. Oleh karena itu, mereka butuh alat bermain sebagai media pendidikan dalam pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-Kanak.
Penelitian ini didasari oleh kemampuan bahasa pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di Raudlatul Athfal Al-Furqon Totokaton Punggur masih rendah, hal ini disebabkan latar belakang pendekatan pembelajaran kurang menarik, pemilihan metode pembelajaran bahasa yang kurang tepat, serta penyampaiannya yang kurang variatif dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada Anak Usia Dini. Guru juga kurang mengajarkan komponen bahasa secara menyeluruh. Hal ini berakibat pada nilai anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan bahasa melalui metode bernyanyi menggunakan media kartu gambar pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di Raudlatul Athfal Al-Furqon Totokaton Punggur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Action Classroom Research). Subjek penelitian ini yatiu 17 peserta didik usia 4-5 tahun di RA Al-Furqon Totokaton. Setelah peneliti melakukan penelitian, dan analisis data, peneliti mendapatkan data bahwa tidak ada anak dengan nilai bahasa BB (Belum Berkembang), 9 anak dengan penilaian bahasa MB (Mulai Berkembang atau sebesar 53% dari jumlah anak, 4 anak dengan penilaian BSH (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan atau sebesar 23,5% dari jumlah anak, dan 4 anak dengan penilaian bahasa BSB (Berkembang Sangat bagus) atau sebesar 23,5% dari jumlah anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode bernyanyi menggunakan media kartu gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini di Raudlatul Athfal Al-Furqon Totokaton Punggur tahun ajaran 2018/2019.
This study aims to determine whether the application of the method of finger play can develop cognitive abilities in class A children in Raudhatul Athfal Ma’arif 01 Metro. This study used a qualitative approach, with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study uses a design according to the Kemmis model and Taggart MC which consists of four stages, namely: 1. Planning, 2. Action, 3. Observation, and 4. Reflection ". The subjects of this study were class A children in Raudhatul Athfal Ma’arif 01 Metro 2018/2019 academic year as many as 15 children. The research instrument uses the method of documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the first cycle, indicators of success in cognitive abilities are 60% increased to 80% in cycle II.
This study aims to analysis early childhood characters through KH. Wahid Hasyim education model at RA Ma’arif Metro. The study used a descriptive qualitative to describe the values of character education in various activities. This study explains KH. Wahid Hasyim’s character and its relevance to early childhood education. Application of character by KH. Wahid Hasyim consists of eight characters: religious, tolerant, independent, democratic, nationalism, love for the motherland, friendly or communicative, and fond of reading. KH. Wahid Hasyim’s framework is in line with the objectives of character education applied in early childhood education. Cultivation of character is given by example, programmed activities, habituation, and repetition in daily life. Instilling character values in early childhood hopes for children’s obedience and must be recognized and believed by children to feel these values are valid and beneficial to themselves and their environment.
Knowing the local language has been introduced from an early age so that children do not forget their respective regional languages, including the regional language of Lampung. Introducing the Lampung language starting from counting in the Lampung language, singing, and mentioning the simple vocabulary of the Lampung language. The aim of this research is to develop the Busy Book media as a learning medium to introduce the Lampung language for early childhood, see the feasibility of the Busy Book as a learning medium to introduce the Lampung language in child. Research in the form of R & D taken from the development of Brog and Gell, the subject of this research is TK Bina Pertiwi Desa Pejambon, Negeri Katon District, Pesawaran Regency with a questionnaire-based research instrument that is validated by material experts and media experts, and teachers at Bina Pertiwi Kindergarten, Pejambon Village, Negeri District. In Katon Pesawaran District, the type of data produced is qualitative data which is analyzed with new criteria of assessment to determine the quality of the Busy Book being developed. The result of this research is that the Busy Book media as a learning medium for early childhood in Bina Pertiwi Kindergarten is very feasible to use and can also improve Lampung language skills in early childhood.
