Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) yang merupakan coronavirus jenis baru yang belum pernah diidentifikasi sebelumnya pada manusia. Penyakit Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merukan salah satu faktor komorbiditas dalam kejadian COVID-19 dimana jumlah penderita diabetes melitus yang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. salah satu program yang ada dalam PROLANIS yaitu Latihan fisik yang juga merupakan salah satu pilar dalam mengontrol kadar gula darah pada pendeirta diabetes mellitus yang merupakan. Kegiatan aktivitas fisik yang untuk penderita DM dalam pengontrolan Kadar Glukosa Darah (KGD) yaitu olahraga tingkat sedang seperti aerobik, latihan berjalan cepat, latihan sepeda, latihan lari, dan renang. Senam prolanis dilaksanakan pada kegiatan posyandu lansia sebanyak seminggu sekali dengan jumlah latihan selama 60 menit dengan dipandu oleh instruktur senam
WHO (World Health Organization) noted that in 2013 at least 839 million cases of hypertension occurred worldwide. In Indonesia there was an increase in the prevalence of hypertension. Overall the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia in 2013 was 26.5% 1. And in North Sumatra, the prevalence of hypertension in 2013 was 24.7%. People with hypertension are increasing every year almost all over the world and cause global public health problems that contribute to the burden of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, disability and premature death. This type of research is an analytical quantitative study with cross-sectional design, with a total sample of 56 people with hypertension and the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data analysis using chi square test. The results of the study were 45-54 years old (35.7%), female gender (53.6%), high school education (42.9%) and the work of farmers / fishermen / laborers 37.5%). Good level of knowledge (67.9%), adequate hypertension control efforts (64.3%) Chi square test results showed variables related to hypertension control efforts were education, occupation, knowledge of hypertensive patients (p <0.05). It is recommended for the puskesmas to improve health implementation programs, especially early detection of hypertension so that prevention programs can be done quickly to avoid more severe hypertension. It is hoped that the community will participate in the Healthy Living Movement (GERMAS) program, which focuses on three activities, namely: doing 30 minutes of exercise a day, eating fruits and vegetables; and check health regularly.
Foot care is an action that aims to prevent diabetic ulcers including washing and drying the feet, checking the condition of the feet every day, taking care of nails, being careful when exercising, and protecting the feet with shoes and socks (Ariyanti, 2012). This action is carried out on the elderly who suffer from Diabetes Mellitus and have the potential to experience health problems. The purpose of this activity is to carry out early detection and prevent the occurrence of Diabetic Ulcers. The activity was carried out on June 17, 2021, UPTD Tanah Tinggi Public Health Center, Binjai City. The implementation of these activities gives positive results for the elderly. People who check themselves can find out the condition of their feet and add information in the prevention of diabetic ulcers with the result that participants enthusiastically ask about foot care and are able to explain how to prevent diabetic ulcers.
Diabetic wounds are injuries that occur in patients with diabetics involving disorders of the peripheral and autonomic nerves. Every year more than one million people with diabetes lose one of their legs as one of the complications of diabetes, this means that every 30 seconds one leg is lost due to diabetes somewhere in the world. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of patients in the treatment of diabetes mellitus wounds in PTPN II Hospital Binjai Departure in 2016. The method of this study was descriptive observational. The population in this study were all patients treated at the Women's Room at PTPN II Bangkat Binjai Hospital, totaling 20 people. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people with accidental sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Knowledge Level of Patients About Diabetes Wound Care in the Women's Room of PTPN II Hospital Binjai Departure in 2016 which is interpreted is good knowledge as many as 6 people (60%), enough as many as 2 people (20%) and less than 2 people (20%). 3. It is expected that patients will be able to prevent Diabetes Injuries by controlling blood glucose, using footwear, treating toenails, foot care and foot exercises. Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan gangguan metabolik kronis yang ditandai oleh kekurangan dalam produksi dan pemanfaatan insulin hormon pankreas. Keluarga mempunyai pengaruh terhadap sikap dan penerimaan pendidikan kesehatan pasien Diabetes Melitus. Karena penyakit ini mempunyai tantangan yang besar untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam penatalaksanaannya, karena harus dilakukan seumur hidup sehingga kejenuhan dan ketidak patuhan sering terjadi. Dukungan keluarga sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan diet pasien DM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Kepatuhan Menjalani Diet pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Binjai Estate Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah non-eksperiment yang bersifat kualitatif dengan desain korelasi yang dilakukan Melitus di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Binjai Estate pada bulan Januari - Juli 2020. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita diabetes melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Binjai Estate yang berjumlah 125 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien diabetes melitus yang tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Binjai Estate dan yang bersedia jika diminta datanya oleh peneliti sebanyak 25 responden. Hasil penelitian terdapat dukungan keluarga baik sebanyak 13 responden (52%) dengan memiliki 12 responden (48%) memiliki kepatuhan menjalani diet diabetes melitus dengan patuh, 1 responden (4%) memiliki kepatuhan menjalani diet diabetes melitus dengan tidak patuh, responden yang memiliki dukungan keluarga cukup sebanyak 9 responden (36%) dengan memiki kepatuhan menjalani diet dengan patuh 4 responden (16%), sedangkan yang memiliki kepatuhan menjalani diet dengan tidak patuh 5 responden (20%), dan yang memiliki dukungan keluarga kurang terdapat 3 responden (12%), yang memiliki kepatuhan menjalani diet dengan tidak patuh sebanyak 3 responden (12%). Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-squer ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan menjalani diet pada pasien diabetes melitus (p=0,003 < 0,05) dengan besar korelasi antar variabel adalah 0,003 bearti Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Saran : Di harapkan bagi keluarga untuk memberikan support yang berupa motivasi, dukungan, dan bimbingan baik berupa moril dan material agar pasien lebih patu mnejalanni diet diabetes melitus dalam menjaga kadar gula darah
