The development of android mobile technology has reduced student interest in learning and this will have an impact on the use of study time. Considering that this phenomenon is important to be studied in more depth, then through this study, it will be investigated the relationship between interest in learning and the use of time. The population of this study were all high school students in the city of Banda Aceh, but due to time and cost constraints, the research respondents were only taken as many as 75 students from 4 high schools in the city of Banda Aceh. Sampling using the proportional sampling method with the consideration that only classes that have implemented subject learning using online media. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire of interest and the use of learning time. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to obtain the average data, the largest score, and the percentage. While inferential analysis is used to obtain data about the relationship between aspects of interest, aspects of time use with variables of interest and use of time. The results of data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient (r_xy = 0.68) in the high and positive category and the coefficient of determination was 46.24% at a significant level of 0.05. Inference from the results of this study, teachers need to attract students' interest in learning by choosing a model or method that has been proven to be reliable, so that students are willing to manage their study time appropriately and efficiently
Pengetahuan pedagogi isi kandungan (PPIK) , sikap guru dan kemahiran pedagogi dan penilaian guru sains dalam proses pengajaran dan pemudahcaraan memainkan peranan yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pendidikan Sains, Teknologi, Kejuruteraan dan Matematik (STEM). Sehubungan itu, kajian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menentukan tahap pengetahuan pedagogi isi kandungan guru sains sekolah menengah dalam melaksanakan pendidikan STEM. Selain itu, kajian juga ingin menentukan sikap guru , tahap kemahiran pedagogi dan penilaian dalam melaksanakan pendidikan STEM. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif secara tinjauan melalui borang soal selidik yang melibatkan 31 orang guru sains sekolah menengah yang telah menghadiri program Pembelajaran Sains secara Inkuiri di Pusat STEM Negara melalui kaedah persampelan rawak mudah. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan bahawa tahap pengetahuan pedagogi isi kandungan STEM berada pada tahap yang tinggi manakala sikap guru menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Di samping itu, tahap kemahiran pedagogi dan penilaian guru sains berada pada tinggi untuk memastikan proses pengajaran dan pemudahcaraan berjalan dengan baik.Implikasinya, latihan dalam perkhidmatan perguruan perlu dipertingkatkan agar dapat melaksanakan pendidikan STEM dengan jayanya memandangkan guru memainkan peranan yang signifikan dalam pembangunan PPIK. Selain itu, Pusat STEM perlu terus merancang lebih banyak intervensi dan strategi pemantauan yang berkaitan untuk para guru sains sekolah menengah. Setiap aktiviti dan program yang dirancang perlu sentiasa disemak dan ditambah baik untuk pemantapan dalam pendidikan STEM.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected education in Indonesia. The government has suggested alternatives to solve the learning problems during the pandemic. Offline and online classes were used to fulfil the various learning needs of students. This study investigated the effect of using augmented reality-assisted media in offline and online classes on student achievement amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a quasi-experimental design by utilising augmented reality (AR) in each class for eight weeks. Validated test questions were used following the use of AR. According to the results of the independent t-test in the current study, student achievement from offline (n = 63, M = 74.71) and online (n = 64, M= 71.46) classes increased drastically with t = 1.994, p = 0.048. However, in terms of differences in achievement improvement between the two classes, students in offline classes had higher achievement compared to those in online classes. Thus, it can be concluded that student achievement in Physics has improved with the help of augmented reality-assisted media amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly through offline learning mode. This study contributes to the development of AR for future education, particularly how to enhance student achievement in Physics. Future AR studies can be carried out in more classes from various regions or countries, considering that the 3D models in AR are useful to aid the learning of other subjects with abstract concepts.
Pendekatan Flipped Classroom kini dipraktikkan dengan meluas dalam semua peringkat pendidikan selari dengan perkembangan teknologi terkini. Penyelidikan mengenainya juga semakin meningkat dan penerbitan dokumen agak ketara kenaikannya. Oleh itu, kajian analisis bibliometrik ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara saintifik dokumen yang diterbitkan dari pangkalan data SCOPUS berkaitan kajian pendekatan Flipped Classroom dalam bidang Pendidikan Sains dari tahun 2010 hingga 2021. Kata kunci “flipped classroom”, “inverted classroom” dan “science education” digunakan semasa pencarian dokumen berkaitan. Sebanyak 578 dokumen merupakan data akhir digunakan dalam kajian ini. Justeru, perisian VOSviewer digunakan bagi menganalisis data dan memvisualisasikan dapatan kajian. Dapatan kajian memperlihatkan trend penerbitan tahunan dan sitasi terkumpul dalam penerbitan dokumen menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat positif dalam tempoh 11 tahun (2010-2021). Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan United States mendominasi kajian dari segi penerbitan dokumen dan sitasi. The Universiti of Hong Kong pula merupakan organisasi yang paling banyak menerbitkan dokumen. Sementara itu, Jeons J.S. merupakan penyelidik yang paling produktif menerbitkan dokumen. Manakala Mclauhin J.E. merupakan penyelidik yang telah menerbitkan dokumen paling berpengaruh. Seterusnya, Education Sciences merupakan sumber yang paling banyak menerbitkan dokumen. Rangkaian kerjasama antarabangsa memperlihatkan United States dan China mempunyai hubungan yang sangat kuat. Manakala rangkaian kerjasama antara penyelidik serta antara organisasi mempunyai hubungan yang lemah. Selain itu, daripada analisis kata kunci mendapati fokus kajian kepada prasekolah, guru dan pemikiran komputasional masih kurang dan perlu diberikan perhatian. Kajian ini diharap dapat membantu penyelidik lain untuk lebih memahami aliran perkembangan dan jurang kajian serta dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber rujukan untuk kajian pada masa akan datang.
