Penelitian merupakan suatu proses penyelidikan yang dilakukan secara aktif, tekun, dan sistematis yang bertujuan untuk menemukan, menginterpretasikan, dan menemukan fakta-fakta yang baru, serta mengembangkan kesimpulan dan menghasilkan teori baru yang sesuai dengan keadaan yang berlaku. Buku dengan judul "Metodologi Penelitian Kualitatif" merupakan buku ajar yang disusun sebagai media pembelajaran, sumber referensi dan pedoman belajar bagi mahasiswa. Buku ini juga akan memberikan informasi secara lengkap mengenai materi apa saja yang akan mereka pelajari. Pokok-pokok bahasan dalam buku ini mencakup: 1) Paradigma Penelitian Kualitatif; 2) Penelitian Kuantitatif vs Kualitatif; 3) Pendekatan Etnografi; 4) Pendekatan Naratif; 5) Pendekatan Studi Kasus; 6) Perumusan Masalah Penelitian Kualitatif; 7) Instrumen Penelitian; 8) Teknik Pengumpulan Data; 9) Analisis Data Penelitian Kualitatif; 10) Keabsahan Data Penelitian Kualitatif; 11) Desain Penelitian; 12) Variabel dan Cara Pengukurannya; dan 13) Menyusun Proposal Penelitian Kualitatif.

Purpose: In particular, this activity aims to provide education to BKG 5 (Bundo Kanduang Gonjong 5) in the use of processed upcycled materials, with the aim of training creativity and skills in processing used materials around them to be converted into ready-to-use products so as to reduce waste by providing guidance on processing waste clothing or used towels into ornamental plant pots. This training is also expected to be a savings in the purchase of ornamental plant pots which are currently rife among people. Method: The methods used are lecture and question and answer methods, demonstration methods, and non-formal discussion methods. Result: As a result, during the training activities, the participants participated with great enthusiasm for all the material that had been given by the presenters which was then followed by a question section. In addition, the participants had new knowledge about the utilization of unused used goods in the surrounding environment to be reprocessed into useful products. Conclusion: The implementation of community service activity programs through ornamental plant pot training can be carried out properly according to the plan. It is proven by the enthusiasm shown by the participants with the attendance indicators exceeding the target where many people took part in this activity.

Interest in learning is one of the determining factors for achieving learning objectives. Through interest, students will have the urge to follow the ongoing learning process. One way to increase student interest in learning is by using technology in earning process, such as the use of technology- based learning media. Learning media that are used appropriately in the learning process will be a more effective and efficient supporting tool in achieving learning objectives. The purpose of this workshop is to increase the learning interest of Senior High School students in Padang Pariaman Regency through the use of learning media using technology. This workshop is not only intended for students but also the teachers. University Community Engagement Program (PkM) is carried out through 5 (five) stages, namely: the preliminary stage, the socialization and audience stage, the workshop implementation stage, and the final evaluation stage. The workshop is conducted for 2 (two) days and is given separately for teachers and students. On the first day, the material was presented to teachers and students. Furthermore, the second day of the workshop focused on the practice of making learning media using the internet and its use.

ABSTRAK     Keamanan adalah hal yang sangat terpenting bagi semua orang, keamanan juga memberikan seseorang rasa nyaman untuk menjalankan aktifitas sehari-hari. Berbagai teknologi dikembangkan dalam bidang keamanan salah satu nya adalah keamanan pintu otomatis. keamanan pada pintu bisa diamankan dengan kunci konvensional kampus yang bersifat manual akan tetapi pada kunci konvensional sering kali terjadi kehilangan kunci akibat dari kelalaian pemilik atau pun penggandaan kunci yang menjadi salah satu sasaran tindak kejahatan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan prototype Membuka kunci pintu otomatis menggunakan sidik jari (fingerprint). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode prototype. Metode prototype pada penelitian ini memiliki lima proses yaitu analisa kebutuhan, desain prototype, perakitan dan pengkodingan prototype. Sehingga diperoleh rancangan prototype Membuka kunci pintu otomatis menggunakan sidik jari (fingerprint).   Kata kunci:  Arduino Uno, Prototype, Sidik Jari

This research was a qualitative descriptive study, aimed at describing the application of political education received by students on campus to money politics that occurred in the Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor at Dumai in 2020. The instrument used a questionnaire developing Guttman scale. Its population was all students who are enrolled in universities throughout Dumai. Respondents amounted to 760 people who were selected by incidental sampling technique. Some findings of this study were: (1) A total of 74.7% of students in the city of Dumai knew about money politics; (2) 71.7% of respondents knww the purpose of money politics; (3) 79.9% of respondents had experience of receiving money from the success team and/or pairs of candidates; (4) A total of 78.9% of student respondents already knew the impact of money politics on the 2020 Dumai Mayor and Deputy Mayor Election; (5) A total of 73.6% of respondents had experience receiving money from unscrupulous pairs of candidates during the previous election when the previous election was held; (5) Questions regarding the prediction of money politics during the election was 85% of respondents answered that it would not happen; (6) The statement of the respondent's attitude when receiving money and choosing the candidate pair in question would be made by 22.1% of the respondents; and (7) A total of 71.4% of respondents did not accept the money given and did not choose the candidate pair. In conclusion, from the percentage of the data above,  realization of political education received by the students in some campus in Dumai with the attitude towards the rejection of money politics in happened in Dumai on 2020 Mayor election is better.
