The paper deals with the analysis of the linking between country image and level of economic security. The studies confirmed that ongoing tendency on world competitiveness justified considering direct and indirect dimensions which influence on the country’s economic security. The authors generalised the factors which affected the economic security of the country. The finding proved that one of the significant indirect parameters is the country image. The authors analysed and summarised the most appropriate definitions of country brand and image. The authors analysed the frequency of country brand and image in the scientific paper. The paper aimed to identify the scientific clusters on the investigation of economic security and the country’s brand. The study used the bibliometric analysis using software VOSviewer, Web of Science and Scopus Tools Analysis. The data of analysis was obtained from the scientific database Scopus and Web of Science for 1991-2019 years. For the analysis, the papers were selected as the criteria as follows: English language; published for 1991-2019 years; contained the keywords brand, image, county and security. The results of the analysis proved that the paper which used the term “country image” is more than “country brand” in Scopus and Web of Science. The findings from the Web of Science and Scopus Tools Analysis confirm the hypothesis on the increasing tendency of publishing activities papers which focused on the analysis of security and country’s image. The visualising of co-authorship by country allowed identifying that the 50% papers published by the scientists with the American, Ukrainian, Canadian, Spanish and Russian affiliations. The VOSviewer results allowed identifying two significant scientific clusters as follows: country image and economic security. Besides, between the two most significant cluster were as mediators: governance, nation branding, developing countries and environment. Besides, analysing the new publication for 2015-2019 years, the most cited papers on economic security connected with analysis not only quantitively economic parameters but also with political, sustainable development and country’s image. The bibliometric analysis formed the background for checking the casual relationship between image and economic security of the country. The aim of this study was to analyze the current international agreements, the Ukrainian legislation on ensuring the educational needs of its national minorities, the observance of their educational rights and their compliance with international standards. The study is conducted on the example of the educational needs of Gypsies, Poles and Hungarians. The materials and methods used made it possible to carry out analytical and research work, identify shortcomings and offer clear proposals for the legal regulation of the educational provision of national minorities. Also, a questionnaire survey was conducted among representatives of national minorities studying in educational institutions in Ukraine. The system of general philosophical and scientific methods was chosen as a methodological basis. It is concluded that, in general, Ukrainian legislation complies with international and European standards of minority education, because it contains rules and guarantees to ensure full understanding of the native language of the national minority and, in the broadest sense, the legislator managed to find a balance between national, moral and cultural interests of these groups of Ukrainian citizens.
On the basis of the sources published and new archival materials, more accurate information on well-known jurist Volodymyr Boshko’s life and his scientific, teaching and public activities is provided. For the first time, information on the unlawful repression of the scientist’s daughter and older brother is given. The main stages of his life, career, and scientific heritage are described. The little known scientific works of the jurist have been returned to scientific circulation. Particular attention is paid to Boshko’s early social and political essays. His achievements in the spheres of history of law and family law have been identified. It is emphasized that professor Boshko was the author of the first Soviet textbook on history of political and legal studies, which had been the only one for 30 years. It also has been found out that his scientific works concerning problems of the legal status of spouses and illegitimate children, alimony law and factual marriage are still relevant. The legal positions of the scholar on issues of state law, in particular the notions of sovereignty, equality of states, sovereignty of federations, content and legal nature of some human rights, are also covered. The works of the professor in the fields of civil and agrarian law are also mentioned. His talent as a teacher and the head of a number of academic institutions is indicated, in particular the attention is paid to his educational activity in various academic institutions of railway transport. The information on Boshko’s initiative on the state program “Big Dnieper” is given. The jurist’s affiliation to the activities of Kyiv Branch of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Association of Oriental Studies and of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences has been revealed. For the first time, the scholar’s initiative to establish the Institute of Law and the Department of Philosophy of Law in the system of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR is covered in detail. The milestones of the scientist’s life in the evacuation and post-war years of his activity at the Law Faculty of Kyiv University are reproduced in general terms. It is found that in recent years, the scholar had been actively working on his doctoral thesis on Soviet family law and had been preparing a three-volume work in history of political and legal studies, but these works were not completed.
