This paper describes a novel no-reference video quality assessment (VQA) model which is based on eye tracking datas for H.264 coding videos. This assessment model is based on the blur and the blockiness. The eye tracking datas were used to the no-reference video quality assesment. The experimental results show that the assessment model has better performance in terms of both the prediction accuracy and the computation complexity.
The effect of stereoscopic depth on visual fatigue was investigated. We compared visual fatigue parameters induced by watching same 3D movie with different depths presented on Sony BRAVIA LCD 3DTV. The results showed that watching 3D enhanced mode movies resulted in more visual fatigue and discomfort significantly than 3D normal mode movies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
